About RaceRecorder: Motorsport Lap Timer
RaceRecorder is designed for simplicity.
Three Timing Modes:
1) Circuit Timing: A growing library of race circuits around the world are available, and if you are near a known circuit you can setup RaceRecorder for your track day with a single tap; Arrive at the circuit, choose from "Nearby Circuits", then drive. Speaks lap time data while you drive and stores telemetry data for viewing later. Session reports detail your fastest lap, offer the "potential lap" based on all your fastest sector times, and view your fastest lap in an acceleration graph, and Google Earth telemetry data.
2) Acceleration Timing: Record the time it takes to reach a target speed from a standing start. Define your own target speed, 0-60? 0-100? You set the target, RaceRecorder captures your time.
3) Free Timing: Capture any journey. Perfect for non-circuit routes; Record your GPS telemetry as a Google Earth file.
Features:
- Free and always will be: RaceRecorder was born in March 2015 as a tool to help me learn how to go faster, I share it free to help others with the same requirements; a need to improve and zero budget. RaceRecorder will remain free in future, and new features are always in development.
- Customise the colours; Make your colour scheme unique.
- Overlay GPS data onto your track day videos, showing your speed and lap times.
- Nearby Circuit Aware; Makes trackdays simple; Arrive at the circuit, start RaceRecorder, select from "Circuits Near You", and drive.
- Logs telemetry data in Google Earth files, showing your speed at all points of your lap.
