Inside languages, please select Hindi under the ‘Installed’ section. Once installed, you can switch between languages by swiping the Space key right or left from your keyboard.

I have reinstalled after a long time and found more user friendly this time. If we could add words to personal dictionary that would be excellent. I did not find any option for the same. Hindi typing is also a welcome feature. If prediction dictionary could be available outside Google Play that would be a boon to many users since paucity of space prevents downloading from Google Play.
