The app just gets worse and worse. On Android 8, I'm seeing 8% of my total battery availability used by this app in just four hours, almost entirely from the background process (just 3 minutes of active screen time). Then they're are things like camera permission being required - for a corporate email program. Not a chance.

2 years later and I still can't trust my calendar reliably. Calendar events are constantly out of date or never show to begin with. I also have to force close inbox weekly to get email updates. For how many apps that interface with exchange servers you'd think this would be easy to do in 2017. Care to fix any of your acquisitions VMware or just let them all rot?

***** Update Oct 2017*** The problem statement is now different. The app crashes regularly on my one plus5 phone. Works fine on my Nexus 5x. Can run tests on the one plus 5 and confirm? *** Lack of options to store emails longer than 3 months.Has the worst interface an email app can have. Extremely painful to use. Keeps crashing on my Nexus 5x. Problems on Android 7.1.1 with the latest inbox version. Needs a fresh update to work even.

Whatever the recent update was meant to do, it now introduces major performance lags in Inbox and unacceptable power drain to the point where I kill the app after use so my phone will last the day. Previously was a 4 star app

Very basic and dated interface. Painful to catch-up on long email chains since there is no conversation view. No option to always show images so we need to authorize everytime. Please add these feature!

I don't know how they convince companies to deploy their unreliable enterprise tools. Very frustrating when it suddenly can't log in. And no it's not because my password expired. EDIT: I now have to periodically uninstall and reinstall this app because it stops receiving messages. When it does work the battery drain forces me to charge the phone multiple times a day. I'm using the latest version and it stopped working after a couple of weeks. Time to reinstall again.

Worst app. Do not use this app. Not sure why my organization has chosen AirWatch inspite of too many negative reviews. Trust me.. All these negative reviews are for real. The app doesn't sync my mails. Its been hours since the last update. No use of this app.

It may not have the slickest interface, but it just works which is what I need. To save battery, I have it sync every hour and I have no issues with new email lag like I did with Boxer. Boxer maybe prettier, but for now Inbox is more reliable.

## Increasing Unstable Dec 17 ## slower and slower and consuming considerable more battery power. Frequently need to force stop app to regain use. Makes the alternative, Outlook look fast. The only reason left I have it installed, is to sync my calendar.

Dear vmware team, Let's be practical. We are in 2018 now and you guys are still unable to make a good UI for this app. Common it us being used by all corporate companies and why can't you improve the UI. We would love to see UI something like Gmail or Samsung Email or even Google Inbox.. this is surely not a rocket science project.. It's an app and I don't think for a company like VMWARE it should take years to produce a quality app that is not even 10MB in size ! Please improve the UI and experience. No update to app since last Sept !! Do you care to reply ?

App is unstable, needs reinstalling frequently as it keeps on forgetting how to get new e-mail headers. Now it won't accept passcode and fails when trying to reset it. Calendar fails to register new meeting requests and only shows them after a reinstall. This means you have to check your outlook calendar using pc just to be sure about upcoming meetings.

Hate this app. My company doesn't allow us to use the native android email app anymore so forced to use this terrbile, ugly app with no features. it also doesn't integrate into other apps or widgets. Wish I could give 0 stars

Sell your Dell stock! If they aren't bankrupt now, they should be after producing this horrific app. Just awful!! Is there a rating less than one star? Now I find out that Dell (the owner of this dribble) no longers supports this as they bought something called Boxer and are pushing that. Ratings aren't much better there and who trusts Dell to support it anyway. Best thing to do is not buy any Dell products. Maybe then they will get the message. By the way, anyone who gives this more than one star must either be a Dell employee or never used any other app so they don't know any better.

This app is awful. When you get an attachment to download. It puts it in its own location and not in your phone's document folder. You also can not delete downloads from this app. I am trying to get my company to not use this app. It is that bad

JUst 2 words to describe this app. Endless Misery. Whichever IT manager picks this solution HATES his employees and his company. It is impossible to read encrypted mail

Probably the worst email client. It makes you feel you are living in 18 century where smartphone revolution is yet to happen. Wish my company move away from this. Very bad UI, frequently disconnects, hardly any edit capabilities, lack of integration with other apps are just few of this apps shortcomings.

Was reasonable but got worse since the last update. There's a glitch that when you launch the app, it goes straight to compose mode. Either creates a new email or replies to an existing. Not straight to inbox. Please fix it!

It is good but having some issues Main bug I'm suffering from when I do search and get the list, I cannot open any mail from this list. 2nd main issue, I'm having lots of folders, there is no way to get ALL unread in one view, have to go to each folder and this is not easy. Also emails inside these folders are not refreshed unless I open the folder.

Way better than VmBoxer! Boxer wants everything ready through that including your personal email and calendar. Don't know about you but don't want my personal emails and work emails mixed. Liked having work calendar with personal calendar but not through my work client app. So now I have to use two calendars since I can't see my work stuff on my personal calendar which inbox did...

The worst email app of all time. Slow, battery eating garbage! No swipe to next message, app keeps crashing. So many things wrong with this app. Shame on you VMware.

Hi guys There, Can you please place the button for delete at Other place... Many times mail gets deleted by mistake, since the button is placed n3ar keys which are used most and thus chance to get mail deletion increase. This will add up to convenience.

MAIL_SERVICE is killing the battery in the background. This app barely has any screen on time but is constantly running in the background on Android 8.0 on my Pixel 2. When will this be addressed? Devs probably do not care much as this app is required for containerized email if your company has Airwatch.

Although i find this app good, i have one issue. When i mark an email as read in outlook after it has appeared in the app and then i refresh the app, it should be synced with my outlook. Since currently, its not happening, i sometimes get confused if i have really read the email or not.

Worst application ever. Does not sync emails or calendar, have to perpetually uninstall and reinstall to get it to work. Whoever makes this application should be ashamed of themselves

Continuous bug.. It asks me to login again saying login failed... Connect to your it admin... But after one try it logs in.... So I understand issue is in app as I am getting all my mail but no notification of it

Please update your UI: 1. Add swiping/gestures to move/archive/reply/forward 2. Enable conversation view 3. Overall UI should be updated to 2018 design. We're not on Holo anymore. The inbox app works, but we should demand more from a corporate app from VMware.

Now a days android apps are on good level in terms on UI. Kindly give a revamp to the design and layouts. It's really so out dated feel. Try to give a respect to feedbacks we write.

It takes up so much battery on my Nougat OnePlus 5. Please be less taxing on the battery. And yeah, so many bugs which is quite saddening. :/

App has become unstable recently. I have to force stop and reopen frequently. Never had this problem before a few weeks ago

Consumes high battery resources. Kindly fine tune the same , this issue persists in all version . Add multiple mail selection function to delete the archived mails /old mails.

Earlier app was working fine on my pixel 2 xl. After update to 8.1 oreo.. notifications don't show..i miss important mails most of the time.

Not a good email app for OnePlus 5 . Shows frequent login Errors. Please adapt to OnePlus 5. Samsung version was much better

Doesn't work. As simple as that. Most frustrating app. When it partially worked it would not update calendar properly.

Its not compatible with Android 8 called as orio. with update authentication failed. 29% battery consumed in a cycle, isn't it too much, we should have minus star rating I wish.

I can't read any attachment with this app, I can't directly go-to any link in the message, it recommend another new app to use for this. Worst app

Always giving login error message despite correct password and after the error message once we click retry it opens the inbox as well. PATHETIC.

Very high battery drain when in the background. You can view emails and get notifications about meetings, however you can't see upcoming meetings or view your calendar.

Inbox randomly stops getting email. Just a terrible email client. No adherence to Android design. For an email app, if you fail to deliver or receive email then you get the one star. Try again VMware.

Very less features. UI gives an impression that am using an outdated app. Fingerprint login option is no more available. SYNC NEVER Works. Getting WORST in every update...

On S7, after last update, it doesn't push e-mails automatically. You have to enter in the app to download new e-mails
