Free Beer and Hot Wings Show

I was so bummed when I moved out of state to an area that didn't play the show on the radio. So I was stoked to find the app to stream and listen in the morning where I'm at. The app itself sucks. It's not very user friendly, and kind of a cluster F. Refuses to completely close when I'm done listening. Freezes. I have to continuously uninstall and reinstall the app just to listen every morning. There's no way in hell I'd do that if I didn't love the show as much as I do. That being said, I hate this turd app.

Like everyone else "app sucks, show is great". Latest update keeps app running in background even after exiting. Also use a task killer bit app starts up again in background. App wasn't perfect before,but it was tolerable. Now I delete app during week and try to listen on weekends only. Fix it and I will rerate.

10 stars to the show. 1 for the app. Used to be able to listen and darken my phone. Now i cant. Also, keeps sendimg me to the playstore to download apps. And just like when you darken your screen, the show stops. Was AWESOME till this last update. Cant listen to the show live, so i do after work on my commute home. Really sucks now that i have to keep touchong the screen randomly so it doesnt sleep amd cut the show off. Terrible app. Greatest show ever update: wtf is up w all the adds!?

Love the show! But the app needs work. It stalls when im in full service. It plays 2 shows at the same time. It has day where it wont even connect. Ive used this app since it came out. It worked pretty good in the beginning. But now im constantly messing with the app to listen to the show.. please get this fixed!!! Would love to listen to the show thru out the day again!

Best show on the radio. I absolutely love this morning show. However, it's the worst app I've ever used. Crashes every 10 minutes, stops when I turn off my screen, locks up my entire phone when it crashes, randomly sends me to the Play Store to download games, destroys my battery, etc ...

App always crashes,hasn't worked on s5 for bout a week. I unistalled 2 x both I restarted my phone. But still here we are saying I need to check my internet. My Internet was fine to download it. Pissed poor performance.

Love free beer and hotwings show. For the past 2 months the app "can't connect to the internet", so is useless. Can't stream with mobile network or on WiFi. This is now just taking up space on my phone without giving anything.

This app is horrible. Lately I cannot access it at all. It keeps telling me that it cannot connect to wi fi even when I am on 4g. I have not been able to use it for two weeks! None of my other apps are having this issue. They work just fine. Airkast needs to fix it!

The app continually loses connection to the server on the S8 plus doesn't matter whether I'm on WiFi or 4G. I love this show I listen everyday. Very aggravating that I can't even listen to a 15 minute segment without the app disconnecting from the server. Eventually the app will completely crash due to all the disconnects with and internet error and the app will hang up showing that it's attempting to Start the Radio. Sometimes I have to reboot my phone just to get the app to open and connect to the server after an app crash or hang up. This is the best morning show in the country and the worst app to represent it. Please find and fix these issues. Thanks

Hot garbage. This app is awful. Half the time it doesn't load and the other half it crashes after 5 minutes. It kills your battery. Doesn't do half of the things your want and offers stuff no one needs. Who needs weather from a radio show app? No option to remove ad when the app loads.

Just like every other review. Absolutely love the show but this app is a broken pile of trash. Have not been able to listen for over a week now because it says it can't connect to the internet despite me being on WiFi and literally every other thing on my phone working perfectly.

App is a pile of garbage. Everytime I open it it says "can't connect to internet". Everything on my phone runs smooth as silk. Fix the app or you'll lose a ton of listeners like me, it's the only way I can hear your show.

App was OK for the most part. Froze once and a while randomly but would usually restart on its own. I was OK dealing with the small issues because it was convenient to catch up on the show when I got time later in the day. Now, like everyone else, I'm having the "problem connecting to Internet" issue. Won't even open now. It's a shame that the latest update made things worse.

Like everyone here, love the show and hate the app. It had freezing bugs before, but not straight up refuses to open for the past few days. Says there is an issue with internet connection which is false because every other app that requires internet/data on my phone works normally. App needs many technical issues resolved or FBHW need to get away from Airkast.

This app sucks...the show is great. The app keeps telling me it can't connect to the internet, EVERYTHING else on my phone has no problems with connecting to the internet. Sure do wish I could listen to the show.

Trying to use this on my Samsung Galaxy S7 but every update seems to only make things worse. I now have to Uninstall it once a day because it will randomly shut down when listening to the replay, and then refuse to ever open again. I truly hope FBHW find a new company to produce their app because this company can't seem to get anything right.

The app used to make my phone crash or glitch a couple times a day which is bad enough, but ever since the latest update that was released, it now crashes my phone completely within a half hour of opening the app consistently. And worse yet, it now messes up the entire phone, forcing me to turn the phone off and back on again to be able to do anything. I can't simply close the app, I now have to restart the phone to be able to make a phone call or do ANYTHING else. FIX THIS NOW PLEASE!!!

Seriously though, I have the app on two different phones and it is pretty terrible on both of them. I am no app developer but several of the issues seem to be driven by the ad formats. Just a quick update to my review: Still terrible.

The show is great but the app always says it can't connect to the internet even when my internet connection is working. Amazing show but the app is a steaming pile of hot garbage. I used to use it to listen to the show every day using the app, but until it is fixed, I don't think I'll be able to listen nearly as much as I'd like to. This blows considering this is my favorite​ radio show

This app crashes every five minutes. Really wish whoever runs this thing would fix it. Go figure the adds work just fine but when it comes to actually broadcasting the show, not so much. Love free beer and hot wings, hate this app and everyone involved with running and maintaining it.

I love the show and normally use the VIP podcast to listen to the show. While the guys were in vacation I thought I'd try the app for some best of. Horrible - it crashes constantly and when it "works" it starts/stops playing every few minutes, even on full strength WiFi

Aircast is one of the worst company's that I've had the displeasure of using. Constantly drops the show and tells me that the stream was interrupted or something to that extent end though I had been listening for 20 minutes. That's all I get is 20 minutes then o have to go back in hit play again and so on. I had to do it 5 times in 30 minutes this morning. Will not recommend to anyone and wish i could give it 0 stars. Just plain awful.

The app constantly crashes, and I haven't been able to listen to the show for the last week as the app gets hung up when attempting to open. I've done everything needed on my end to ensure its not me... it's the app.

Shitiest app ever, crashes phone constantly. App has constant connection problem, with good Internet. Content is great though, just wish I could hear it.

This app no longer works at all. And hasn't for quite a while. Is there any way to hear show , not able to listen when on in the am. I Love the show. . I MISS MY "FRIENDS" ..:(

Love FBHW but this app BITES! It will self pause or lock up about every 10-15 mins. Used to lock up every now and then but at this point, it's getting ridiculous!!

Love the show and since I work nights a lot it helps me listen to the show. But the app needs a fix. Constantly kicks me and freezes my phone. Please fix these problems and it'll be a 5 star from everyone.

This app freezes and i have to restart my phone every time to make it work again. Repeat every 30 or so minutes. Please find a better company for your app!

Literally doesn't work. I would compare it to an app where you watch paint dry but that would be doing something. Congrats airkast you are actually worse than watching paint dry.

Awesome show. The only thing that happens to me now is that it will crash seconds after opening the app. Samsung j2

It doesnt work. I love the show but I can't use this app. It keeps saying can't connect to internet but yet I can open my browser and get the show to stream through the browser. Which is exactly what I'll do since this app doesn't work.

Love the show hate the app. It used to work ok before the Dec 2016 update but now it is complete garbage. Currently it will not connect to the internet at all and is completely unusable on my device, a Nexus 5x.

Great show. App sucks. Always crashes, now wont load. Worst thing i have ever down loaded. If it wasnt for the show, i would never get an Airkast product.

I adore the show, but this app is terrible. Like everyone else, my main complaints are that it's a battery hog, it keeps going to the Play Store to prompt me to install some game most of the times that I launch it, and it pops up ads over the screen other times. All of which make it incredibly frustrating to use. I listen to the show--which, again, I enjoy the hell out of--when I'm driving to work. This is not a good time to randomly pause so I have to switch out of Android Auto to either press play or re-launch the app completely. It's also a memory hog. Being able to listen to the hilarious show whenever is the only reason that I put up with this garbage app. The developers really should do a better job of coding this turd.

This app is garbage. Show is awesome, but this app is trash. It constantly disconnects and stops audio. I don't have this problem with other streaming or podcasting apps

I wish they cared as much about the app running smoothly as they do the website. When it comes to replays, its as if they let a retarded rhino loose in the booth to push buttons.

Please fix the app it freezes up all the time. when it does work it is great but any more it's frozen more than not.

Need to email company to make them fix the app WHICH HASN'T WORKED SINCE MAY 31st, 2017. Would give zero stars if possible. Shows is amazing. I miss not hearing it CAUSE THE APP SUCKS!

Updating my review from last year. The app never improved, and now its completely broken. Keeps saying it can't connect to the internet. I've seen several other commenters with the same issue. Fix your app.
