Fantastic App!!@

I have tried repeatedly to install the WMAL apparently to no avail. My requests forum assistance seem to be ignored.

I like using this app because I don't want to carry a radio around with me. But, boy does it suck. Constantly disconnecting, even with a strong WiFi connection. Several times per hour. Usually have to listen to the advertisement each time I reconnect. Iheart Radio is much better but requires an account. In fact, no other streaming app I have comes close to being as bad as the WMAL app. Update 1/19/2018 - still as bad as ever. I have found that if you go to WMAL web page on the Chrome app and tap "listen live" it will play without disconnecting every few minutes. The WMAL app is the most worthless app of any type I have ever used.

Good app, like how it tells you what it does with the premmisions.

When I can open the app it generally works, but SO many times it starts, but then tells me it's stopped working. I force stop it, clear everything and I have a 50/50 shot of it opening. It's been doing this for well over a year. I'm on a Samsung Galaxy S6 Active. Please fix!!! It's probably been about a year since I posted this rating with no update. Very disappointed. I love WMAL's morning show, but absolutely HATE this app. Will be uninstalling.

It crashes about every 10 min or so. When I close all my apps, the WMAL app tries to restart itself automatically, whether I want it to or not. Lastly, the app takes up over 200MB of memory - for what? Will use iheartradio or something else to get to this otherwise awesome radio station.

I've experienced unexpected interruptions which are sometimes due to the app crashing ave someone's just an inexplicable pause. Upon a crash, I have to shut down the app and relaunch it. I cannot predict if the app will remain running for 5 minutes or 30. Another review suggested that the website on the Chrome app works just fine, and that has been my experience with the Mark Levin Show. Crappy app.

I'd put up with jusr about anything just to hear Chris Plante, but i'm losing my patience. When I miss a show, I will download a podcast to listen later when I'm not on WIFI. However, if I try to start the app out of wifi range, it will not run. It just sits and grinds looking for wifi. That is ass-backwards!

It's not just the superuser access requested EVERY TIME I open the app... It's the stream stopping shortly after my screen times out. Waking the screen "magically" prods the app to resume playing. Quite the marketing(?) ploy to make me pay attention to my phone periodically. NOT cool, guys!

reduced stars fron 4 to 2 Great station ...but App has disintegrated into a hot mess! ...used to work fairly well, now crashes and stops constantly even on home WiFi and nearly 2 gigs of memory to spare. ..and its the same with Air Cast's Red eye Radio app... seems to be an issue with the loading the forced commercials at the app startup. Samsung S4 Android 5.0.1

I love the content and listen to WMAL in the car all the time, but the app could certainly be better, ill dtill use it though

The app itself works, but I remembered the primary reason I never listen to WMAL on the radio. I was curious in a little political talk in light of an upcoming election. I was not informed, and did not learn anything. WMAL is ONLY commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, after commercial, and after commercial with small interruptions of a talk show host...mostly saying 'we'll be right back!' WMAL is terrible. No wonder so few people listen to terrestrial radio.

I liked your app until I heard a persistent, loud beeping which I thought was an alarm in the building. Turned out to be an ad on your app. Uninstalled!

One of my favorite talk stations can now travel with me. Kind of trippy listening to Red Eye Radio while overseas. Podcasts are great too. Glitching seems to be largely eliminated in this build.

Great shows from 5 am to 1 am. 3-5 pm needs some help.

I love Chris Plante. I tune in just to hear him. Sometimes the app will work, sometimes not. I have a Samsung Galaxy S7. Just had the latest update from Verizon. I also have the most updated WMAL app also.

Disconnects frequently, then it spools and spools and rarely connects without having to shut it and restart. When it does connect, it takes way too long. It's impossible.

App is really bad. Also why so many permissions?

App automatically jacks the volume all the way up for ads. Uninstalling.

It will not run more than 90 seconds before crashing. This is pure crap and not ready for prime time. It deserves a negative rating. And once it crashes, if you want to try and start it again, you have to watch her another ad. Pure horse squeeze.

Crashes all the time. Have to close the app then restart, and what's up with the 30 second ad for Michigan Health Care? I thought I was listening to Washington D.C.

Terrible advertisement soaked slow poorly designed glitchy garbage. Listen with the "I heart radio" app instead.

Crashes during start up does everything except play on air content. I used to listen to WMAL 3 to 6 Hours a day. Today the app WILL Not Play your radio station. I hope the next update fixes this fatal flaw.

**Update for my review. I Uninstalled this app as soon as I found Chris Plante on Talk Stream Live app. ** I only use this app to listen to Chris Plante . I use Talk Stream Live for everyone else. It's a phone app..... Why does it crash when I get a text, email, ANY NOTIFICATION......? I feel that this should not be a problem.... It's designed for your phone.... you're going to get notifications. I'm blown away this is a problem.... Still.

Listen live, head lines, videos, works great. I was wondering if Fred Grandy still had a show on WMAL, he doesn't but the app performs great.
