97.9 The Loop WLUP

I'm not sure why people are knocking this app? I downloaded it and I got my life feed music as described. Maybe you guys have busted ass cricket service phones or something?

Only plays ads on a constant loop. Don't waste your time

Nothing but streaming ads causing a major data drain.

Just keep looping ad on live stream and doesn't go back to the station.

Way better on here than iHeartRadio keep up the great work 97.9 the Loop

As others have said, no streaming. Just commercials. App is completely useless. Also, persistent notification. Big no-no.

Locks up phone, stops when incoming emails come in, have to restart ap to get it to work again

It a buggy app. Won't stream show. Just hangs there.

Love Streaming not working (review date 8/5/2016). Would Love to listen to MANCOW on my long drive in from work from Near Milwaukee to Waukegan but I can't. What else is the point of this app other than Live Streaming? For everything else The Loop's website is better. MANCOW, *Please* invest in your own app and have it developed by a good, reputable developer. The Loop's app is complete and utter garbage. If you end up with anything like this get your money back through whatever means necessary.

This app is horrible. Blow it up and start over. Use iHeartRadio if you actually want to listen to anything. If I could give 0 stars I would.

The app will not live stream which makes this app pretty much pointless now.

Live stream is not worked in over a week as well as their website stream

Live streaming doesn't work anymore

As of 8-4-16 the app has not worked. I uninsulated it, then reinstalled it, and still not working. It's 8-7-16 now.

A music playing app does not require Root permissions, nor should it require access to my Contacts, Calendar, Location, Microphone, Local Storage, or SMS. Who knows what kind of data they're collecting with this app. Further, the interface is horrible and the app doesn't work with Android 5+ because they haven't rehired whatever contracting team made the original abomination to address the introduction of Doze Mode. Stay away.

Way too many issues

Cant listen to it get your thumbs out your ases and fix it

Currently says it cannot connect to internet when I open the app.

Fix this App!! Plagued with so many Ads and connection problems. Always crashes and text messages cause the player to stop and you have to try to reconnect sometimes several times in a row. Reinstall didn't do good. Also why does a request for superuser permission appear upon starting up this app? Still no reply from the dev. It's a shame this sorry excuse for an app comes from a wealthy radio station.

I can't believe something like The Loop radio station would pay money for this horrible app. The design suck, adds, and the best of all it will always make my phone unresponsive.

I've downloaded this app so many times to try n get it too work on my phone and it just drains battery an kicks me off all the time it's worthless an aggregates me so bad

Doesn't work well with Bluetooth or while app is running in the background. Playback stops and I have to disconnect my Bluetooth headphones to get it to start again. All other apps and audio work through the headphones so the problem been isolated to the app.

Phone locks up when using this app.

I move around a lot, and the radio stations in the rest of the country suck! I'm currently living just outside of the listening area so finding this app saved me! No more crappy pop, no more crappy smooth "rock." No more crappy morning shows! Best radio app ever!!!

Go to iheart radio 97.9the loop if u can't here it it's on in the morning
