Red Eye Radio

New app BLOWS.

So the app and show content are great as always. But there is an issue on a Pixel phone running Android 7.1. When streaming over Bluetooth the app will constantly stop after a few minutes. You MUST go to battery settings and then optimization and show all apps. Disable optimization for this particular app and it works fine. Would be great if the devs could fix this issue and then it's give stars from me :)

Unfortunately what used to be a good app has been "improved" to unusability. It's really too bad. Needs to be reverted back a few versions to get it working again. Stop trying to improve perfection. I finally, in frustration, uninstalled it. I just listen to WBAP now.

Starts playing live radio when opened. THEN when you go to fetch podcast a commercial loads and you CANNOT stop it NOR even close app until its finished?! Are you kidding me?? I'm removing app. I can accept a 5 second video until given "skip ad" option but this is just going too far.

I would pay to listen to Red Eye Radio if they got rid of this app. Are you listening Cumulus?

Crashes every 10 minutes.

Plays podcast for a minute then stops. You start it again. Same thing. Completely useless now.

It keeps stopping on its own regardless of using 4G or wifi and both stable.

It worked great for about a month-and-a-half and all of a sudden it stopped allowing me to download shows for no reason. I went to the Verizon store they said my phone is fine something wrong with your app guys, you need to get it fixed!

I need my 5 hrs a day, Liberals really need to listen to this show. Eric and Gary are very intelligent idiots

Good conservative talk but can't download the podcast please fix even listen to stream it jumps around. And stops a lot of time samsung 6

I have listened to these guys for years. Now the app will not start up 95% of the time. When it does start it only stays on for 15-20 minutes. Please fix this app. I need my over night guys!

Downloaded twice, but recent version reports that no Internet connection is available. Useless.. so if there is no internet, how did I download the app?

Freezes every few minutes and must be closed and restarted to continue listening. Poorly written app.

I wanted to listen to Monday's podcast so I opened the app to do so. However, the last podcast is from May 20! I thought there might be a bug so I deleted and reinstalled the app. However, today is May 25 and it still shows the last podcast as May 20!

I hate that it's stops every 15 minutes and you have to go back and try to find where it stopped.

App works great for advertisement and commercials. Show content fails too often.for a driver

The app worked until mid June. Now it can't connect to the internet.

I have been listening to red eye radio for two years since i enter the college,im using this app every now and then for the purpose of News,Improving English in general. Thank you very much,im really gratful.

It plays all of 820am shows here in Texas. You can even call in to the show using the app. Its fun to talk to the radio host.

Works fine except... when you start the app and it first comes up it does not connect and play. You have to watch the advertisement a second time before it will play. Is that a bug or on purpose? Take care of it please thank you.

I have a verizon samsung s 6 where I always have service yet sometimes sometimes the app won't even load the content. I hate how the live radio starts when you open the app. App also quits working and doesn't save my spot in the download on demand show at least 3 times per show

The app used to work perfectly, but lately has been freezing from time to time or just not loading some of the time.

The show is amazing the app stops playing, looses its place, plays the unrelenting ad even if you go to the home screen it takes you back, there is no play or pause when the phone is in locked screen and down loading the shows doesn't help at all

Loaded with commercials! first a video commercial then 5 commercials then 2 minutes of the show then another 4 commercials I finally exited this app and Uninstalled it. Don't waste your time with this app it's garbage. I'm a fan of the show not this app!

These guys make working at night more tolerable, thanks red eye radio!

Worked great until about 4 months ago. Now it is unreliable and stops playing after 5 to 15 minutes. The trouble started when they upgraded the earlier simple app. The upgrades provide rolling news bits and flashing screens. There was a period when ads would play randomly and repeatedly during show segments. These improvements were so bad it caused me to listen directly to the TX station via i heart radio. Got a new Red Eye app upgrade yesterday, so thought I would try it. It still turns off all by itself.

For the most part the app works well. Using "on demand" sometimes freezes . I also think there may be some slight clashing with other apps. Since I've downloaded this app other apps like "keep" stutters .SINCE LAST UPDATE.... BATTERY EATER. ABOUT 20%/HOUR as opposed to iheartradio which is about 3%/hour on my Droid turbo.
