Great update except....... No more. screen rotation or am I missing a setting somewhere? This is critical to me as I'm reading music on the tablet as well. Please put it back!! Update... Good to know rotation is coming back. Had a flawless first run last night with the app. Def will add stars when it is. Cheers. update-any ETA on screen rotation-my neck is getting sore? ;) Is this still alive? Asking about rotation here and sent email a while ago? Had to drop stars for lack of customer service, disappointed.

$99 is a bit much for us in ZAR... but i must say it works great even though I only had one chance to use it. Maby one day i can afford it l.

Only one thing I can't find, looking for the tap. On the desktop app it's there, but on mobile, can't find it

This is THE solution for those of us who want to control our Yamaha Console, from our Android. Now it is important to note that you need to have a wireless router, a computer and the AirFader Server installed on the computer. (I.e. you can't just plug the wireless router into the back of the console.) This morning, I downloaded the 30 day trial version of Airfader to a desktop that sits at front of house at my church. Setup was very quick, and works great. Only improvement would be Dynamics and GEQ control.

Its a good idea, but honestly for this to be more useable it needs direct console capabilities. The fact i have to lug and connect up my laptop to control the LS9 is a pain in the a%@. Apple Ipad has an app to directly connect to the console, why cant android? Will purchase full version if direct console connecability is added. Untill then its been uninstalled and i will not use.

As the mackie DL series making the round these days.. with the control from Ipad.. won't this app do the same magic to control those mixers??

We started using this with in ear monitors. We gave each person a $50 Android tablet with access to their own mix. Working great so far. Would love to be able to access the user defined keys on the M7. Would also like to access the eq for the monitor mix.

Love the app can you make it operate on OSX, and android I use mac computers that would be the business

Unlike the app on iOS I can have multiple users control their own mix without disrupting the main mix

We were thinking this app would be the equivalent of the iOS Stagemix. NOPE. Not even close. You can't simply connect to the LS9 board like you should be able to. You have to have a server version running on a Windows PC and have a client running and connect to that and all sorts of crap. Completely useless app. Good grief, when will they make an app for Android that can connect directly to the board??

Why cant I adjust output port delays and Att. on the android mobile version? Access to the oscillator would be nice!

This is really the only smooth solution for those of us with an M7 and android devices. The PC server component is what Yamaha's editor should've been. Access to effects DSP would bump it up to 5 stars. Well done.

Great application love using it for on stage monitors.

The new interface is a nice improvement. But some functions like the ability to tap to increase/decrease the fader is gone. Hope u will implement it back in the next update.

Might be a great app, don't know. Can't get any support for M7 interface.

AMAZING! Great job on app. Works great with our network and LS9-32. Love how responsive and fluid it is. I would love to see a main volume slider and maybe the ability to resize the channels or move buttons around to get more on the screen especially for larger tablets. We are able to use the computer server to adjust recording levels in the back room while using tablet on stage to set up monitors or setting eq settings while using the board simultaneously. Very, very cool. Thank you for your work!

Wasted so much time trying to get Stagemix and the Ipad to work RELIABLY to no avail. Came across a mention of this while scouring the net for Ipad troubleshooting tips. Bonus points, its for the Android! Synchronization was instantaneous to my laptop. What an elegant interface. I work for a university...most of the time I am a one man show-lighting, sound, and video. This is everything and MORE than the Ipad Stagemix was supposed to be. I had a bit of trouble configuring my network to allow me to interface my Asus Pad and a Cisco E2500 router but I prevailed. It was late and I just let the Cisco software do the configuration. Absolute joy when it connected, and more importantly, STAYED CONNECTED. Used it on a 12 hour day last Thursday with a variety show, musical program and talking heads. What a joy to get out from underneath the balcony and sit in the house. What a joy to have my laptop by the lightboard. I am so grateful. Thanks

Its awesome to be able to control the ls9 from my nexus 7. However not being able to control graphic eqs for mixes and also not having any channel meters makes the functionality of this app pretty bad. These are basic things that are essential for a monitor engineer. Not having these controls means you have to remain at the board, which defeats the purpose of the app. Please fix this! I would buy the server if these problems where fixed! Otherwise its just a toy. Not a bad start but a long way to go.
