Fast Calorie Counter for Android
Just a simple app for accurate calorie counting. So many other apps are overly complicated but this is exactly what I've been looking for.
I used to use MyFitnessPal to count calories, but it seemed like with every update it got slower and slower, to the point where it would take me like a minute to open it and add calories. So I found this app instead, and it does almost exactly what I need, and is WAY quicker to use than MyFitnessPal. I do have some complaints and suggestions though. I don't think the default calorie options are optimal. I would greatly like to see a "5 calorie" button. I think it would be fine if the 50 calorie button were removed to make space. If the buttons could be customized, that would be even better. It would also be nice if there was a 3rd row of buttons. It looks like there is plenty of room for it. Finally, its a slight annoyance that when I press the "custom" button, I have to tap the text field before the keyboard will pop up. It should automatically have the focus in the text field and bring up your keypad.
Simple and super-quick. Common numbers like 50 and 100 can be inputted with one tap; if you ingested an odd # of calories, just click custom and enter the number. No need to hit anything else as the app autosaves your input. Also lets you know how many calories you have left until you hit your daily target, and after a couple uses it figures out your daily average. All this conveniently presented on the same screen.
Exactly what I needed. Mfp was too slow. This works great
Does what I need it to do without the yuppie nonsense, and doesn't require access to my contacts and nudes. The ability to set a custom time for the next day rollover would make it a 5/5.
I can't download. It's unavailable. Why?
Perfect, I know how many calories my food has. I just needed something to keep track of how many calories I have remaining throughout the day.

(too) simple and easy to use. you must know the calories of your meals, this app works as a daily counter, doesn't give info about any food.
I have lost 45lbs using this app. I use it every day, all day.
I'm a truck driver and simple is best. Would like an option to set a timer to remind me every 2 to 4 hrs to enter my food. One day to the next is never the same, wake up at 4 am and the next day it might be 4pm. Timer would help me minimize my calories and snacks inbetween so I don't starve and.kill my metabolism.
This is so much easier than most apps. Just plug your numbers in and your done.
Pretty much what i was looking 4, I just wish i could see each item i input. Almost like a simple log...or a daily running tab:ie 40+130+200+30...etc
I changed my mind,i really wish it would reset itself everyday,as i count my calories by each day.unistalled
Super simple and keeps you on track of your diet.
Really good idea but for some reason the 7 days average is repeatedly misscalculated
Basically like a calculator app, but without numbers 3,4,6,7,8 and 9.
5 and 10!
I just downloaded the app; input my caloric intake for the day; know the amount remaining; and feel empowered! I like it. Going to give it four stars on first impression alone for ease of use.
Highly recommended for those who already learned how to estimate their food's calories.
Great for what I needed, a simple way to keep up with my calories.
If all you want is to input your daily calories and have a weekly average, then you've found it. Takes about 10 seconds to be done with a day. There's no confirmation that you've actually entered and are done for the day, though.
Just what I needed. Super easy to keep track of my intake without the hassle. Wish I could go back a day to add things I forgot so my average would be right, or turn off the average, otherwise it's perfect.
Won't look up food. Very disappointed. Paid and doesn't work.
Nice one
I used to use one of the other more powerful calorie counters. It worked great but I spent a bunch of time adding new foods. With the more powerful app, I figured out what foods fit into my diet looking at balance of protein, fat, and carbs. Now that I know what to eat, I just need to make sure not to eat too much of it. This app does this without over-complicating things. I do recommend using one of the other more powerful apps if you are starting out. You can drink your days calories in soda if you want but this app won't tell you that you are severely deficient in protein intake. But if you generally eat healthy, then this is a great way of keeping track - quickly.
You may think you need more... In practice you do not..:-)

Exact what i was looking for. App that lets you input calories manually. Does not get full score cuz cant input proteins.
Very simple and fast but it would be cool if you could add a record of the days
Count your calories without all the clutter
Absolutely PERFECT for those of us seasoned calorie counters that just want to plug & go & be able to see our daily averages. Clean & simple.
I love this
I love the simplicity. The only thing I wish it had was the ability to go back one day and enter calories. I'll eat some snack at night and forget to enter it in and then the average is off.
The app description says it best. This app is great for those who want to quickly clock their daily caloric intake and get back to reality. Quickest interface. Least permissions. Simple and elegant.
Simplest calorie counter. I just estimate my calories, tap and I'm done. AWESOME for maintaining!!!
I got tired of looking up food or even using other similar methods to count calories, so I quit counting and gained 18 lbs. I was gonna try to develop an app for personal use, that would let me estimate my calories of each meal and it would just keep track of the total, simply to remain conscious of how much I'm eating. But found this app instead, It's exactly what I wanted! No BS, just guess and go. It also has a 7 day average so you can see how your doing for the week, a nice added convenience, I suppose.
Exactly what I was looking for. Simple and quick to keep track of your daily intake, without having to go through all the annoying food lookups
If you are simply wanting a running count of calories every day and know how to estimate the calories in your food, then this is the fastest, easiest app.
