AIDE Web - Html,Css,JavaScript for Android
Warning! To those who go up too many directories and can't view any folders, click the three dots menu and go to "Show Projects" to get back to where you can navigate again! This has all the basic features of a good IDE. It surprisingly came with all the features I ever need for web development.
After showing how to use the "console.log()" function to print "hello world", etc, and how to type comments, you're free training is over. I actually downloaded this to be a JavaScript editor, but appears to be a "monthly fee for tutorial". It is a slick set up, just not what I expected, or would pay for. I wish the app had tested my knowledge first and placed me in an appropriately challenging lesson.
I paid the subscription on this app, and it doesn't work. The AIDE app runs flawlessly, that is why I bought this one. It takes correct answers as incorrect, and I am stuck with that while loop excercise because the code will not execute at all. I can send in a screenshot if you like. I will change this review to 5 stars if these issues are fixed.
Being accustomed to the interface of the editor in AIDE IDE, I find this app awesome for making Twitter bootstrap websites on my phone. However, autocomplete in js is very poor (no slice(), substring(), indexOf(); other basic functions are missing). Also, any big js library makes the app crash because AIDE Web checks for errors and fill the log with massive amounts of errors (and fill memory heap to the max)...
Can't save any work. Description indicates unable to save "LARGE" projects unless purchasing. Can't even save a single bootstrap starter file. All this is is a free annoyance. Waste of my time... good thing I didn't work long on the file before I learned I couldn't save it...
Good IDE! .. Viewport doesn't scale properly (renders the page to small) .. Works fine in Google Chrome on my mobile. Still, best IDE on Android. There's no such free version with this app, you have to purchase to save your work, hence why I only gave it three stars!
New sale on developer version comes up EVERY TIME the app is opened until sale went away.... Search and replace features? PHP support? The Git integration is the key to my use of this ide. AIDE seems to have better features... I purchased the aide premium key as well... Sometimes I edit it aide or aide web... For a php MySQL opensource codebase I still recommend this application.
Unable to save my project, purchase dialog constantly pops up, good functionality though. Its kind of sad, i used to love this app, it helped me to develop some ideas while outside, however can't save anymore, uninstalling. :(
The payment went through this time. The developer takes 48 hours to answer billing questions. Great product, I have been using AIDE since 2013.
Seems to work well, I wish there was an option to exclude certain files and folders from code analysis - as i'm using some third party libraries locally and get thousands of errors reported.
Im just wondering why, after paying A LOT of money for AIDE IDE features, why you would expect me to shell out another 10 for this app when it's not anywhere near as good.
One worst IDE on mobile I used, I coded JavaScript file in it and save it, it pops up to buy full ide. When I run project didn't run. So I closed it and switch to another IDE. I found no code was save. I reopened this file but the code wasn't save in it. This is worst ide.
When I click on 'Open this Website Project' in AIDE, it opens up Play Store, not this application, even though it is installed. That seems pretty dumb.
Continuously asking me to subscribe, when the app is sort or confusing to use.... Im still not sure it can run the website.
l really love all the apps from appfour But one thing is missing IDE for php which has code completing and other things.
Good tools more than ever but I still get bug in the first one I can't access my second activity when I click the button it will show unfortunately myapps has stopped please any help
Nice IDE! It doesn't needs root, but it could be optional to create and manage projects in any folder of system. I have a server running on termux and I wish to have access its folders. Supporting .ts typescript also would be awesome.
Xlent app but all of a sudden if I have to reinstall the app it wants me to buy the "grown up" version although I've been paying 4.99 per month for the past 2 yrs for it. I can only hope they fix this problem.
Why there is no "enter" on the keyboard and you cant run or save your code until you subscribe, but all of that is on a side and "enter" on a side and its really annoying
Good app. Absurdly overpriced.

This IDE is far from mature. 1. Code completion a.) My expectation is when I define a function in my code, I expect CC to know about it. But the IDE does not scan code and therefore does not know about it. b.) Same thing with existing APIS var div1=document.CreateElement("div"); if I then go and enter "div1." nothing happens on the dot because the CC is static. It will show completions when you enter something like document dot but that's it. Frankly I depend on CC a lot. I'm not going to keep a billion API details in my head and neither are you. 2. Where is the error console?? I have to put exception handlers around everything and in my handlers create a div with text at the top of the with the exception details. 3. Where is the debugger? Sure I can plaster my code with a lot of calls to alert()/and asserts but oh hey. 4. You charge more than ten bucks for this thing AND your not only charging extra for the tutorials, but you're renting them out on a monthly basis. You're out of your mind. If this was a great IDE you actually put effort in, I guess you could charge a one time fee for your tutorials. I'll admit I haven't looked at your tutorials so I can't say if they are worth it, but given how rudimentary the IDE is I doubt there is real value.
I had to reset my phone and now it's telling me to pay $9.99 for the functionality I had before.
Not helpful for web page developing "fake" app
Doesn`t highlight php files, even the html part. Too bad.
Being unable to save files makes the free version useless.
Useless, I can't save or run a small project
I paid for the premium key months ago and now recently got another phone. Installed and constant adverts! How the F you gonna put adverts on something I paid for.
Cant do anything without paying. Cant code your webpage & save or view Worthless & overpriced
The best app in mobile coding! I even want to join your team.. LOL
Installed and right away was able to get older Three.js demos working plus its really good for mobile testing ui.
Best Website Developer I found in this PlayStore. It so amazing that could suggest to my friends to create a community website. Thank You
This used to be a wonderful app. Now I can't even save or view my site without paying for it. Don't set this as a free app anymore if it isn't free.
Sad to say, but It needs payment before I can use it for just basic coding.
If it can support ftp and php code it will be great! Great product!
It's too bad...when I am trying to run my HTML program...it shows one pop up which link to the playstore...and it is the developer licence with some payable crediting...I don't want that...now I am unable to run my program...it's too weird.. Change it soon
Had an issue in the last version. Dev responded very quickly and everything works great now! My favorite app for web development!
Hard to edit because your finger is not pointed and the output is too big.!Please fix it.
"Fixed: Rerunning JavaScript console programs". At last. Thanks

I am using this on a 6 year old 8 inch tablet with only 1GB of RAM running Android 4.0.2 and a wireless keyboard without any problems. Hats off to AppFour for making such a beautiful and functional application. The new fix for rerunning JavaScript console applications is working fine. I haven't tried all of it's features as I'm content to use it as an editor and test environment for html, css and javascript. The only issue I've noticed is that the 'home' and 'end' keys do not work in the editor; the 'home' and 'end' keys work in other applications. Thank you AppFour your hard work is greatly appreciated.
