Asia Merchant Bank(AMB) was established as an international bank and commenced its operations in March 2006. The bank is located in Vanuatu Island. Vanuatu is an island nation located in the South Pacific Ocean, 1750 kilometers east of northern Australia. AMB is regulated by the *Reserve Bank of Vanuatu (the central bank of Vanuatu). The Bank is an exempt company limited by shares, incorporated under the Companies Act (CAP 191) and the International Companies Act No 32 of 1992 on 18th July 2002. The Bank's license is issued pursuant to S7 of the International Banking Act (IBA) the Bank is entitled to engage in "Banking Business".
