This app is very convenient. I like the option to unlock with fingerprint. The only part I would like to see improvement is with the keyboard, as it's not as easy to use as the desktop versions of auto-fill. I prefer to use the G-Board so I have to switch when I need to auto-fill, which is understandable. But most of the auto-fill I do is for Facebook login on various apps, and it does not recognize it. I'm sure this is due to the URL but there's gotta be a way around that? Also the option to save a new login, and the password generator would be welcome improvements.

The app itself is excellent. However, beware the pricing. If you buy a licence, you will need a separate one for Mac, Windows, ios and Android platforms. They do not make this clear. Also they will try and persuade you to 'upgrade' to an account rather than a licence, which then requires an annual subscription. Whilst you are not obliged to do this, they are very persuasive and give the impression that this is a necessary step. There are other equally capable password managers available which are rather more transparent with their pricing. In response to the reply below. Why would anyone want to pay an annual subscription rather than a single licence fee???? There is little if any difference in the product.

During setup, I got tired of entering my super-long password everytime I switched back to the app. Tried reading the setup instructions, couldn't backtrack to the screen I needed, minimized window to see whether it was somewhere else, had to re-enter password, still couldn't backtrack to where I needed to be. Instead of having cute introductory stuff, try having helpful introductory stuff.

Why is there no (obvious) way to set up credit card billing in-app? Overall, the UI is unintuitive and mildly frustrating. Looking at my friend's version of the app on iOS it really seems like less effort has been put into the Android experience than the iOS experience.

M70%
by M####:

Great app, super useful on Mac and Android and to never worry about passwords again. My only gripe is the 1password keyboard. This keyboard is absolutely terrible for inputting text and it is very frustrating to start typing and having to switch over every time.

M70%
by M####:

Was planning to move from Lastpass to 1Password mainly due to Travel Mode. But it's totally useless without a Chromebook extension. It would be nice to not have wasted all that time just to find out it won't work on Chromebooks.

T70%
by T####:

I really dont like this subscription based model at all. I've paid a flat rate on iOS, Windows and Mac... and now I'll have to find a new password manager as I cant sync or add new passwords with this anymore on my new android device. Edit: I'm not sure what that reply has to do with my comment. I can't add new passwords without paying for a sub. After being a long time customer with multiple PAID licenses on various platforms, it's a shame that I have to go find a new password manager. Greedy af.

M70%
by M####:

A bit clunky to use, unfortunately, but it is one of my essential apps. It does what I need it to do and stays out of the way when I do not need it. Dropbox integration is wonderful if you're constantly switching devices. My only gripe is the UI, but I cannot rightfully deduct a star for that as the app functionality is spot on.

I have been using this app for a long time now and it does what its supposed to. I have a few suggestions 1) I have a Note 4 and the fingerprint scanner is a swipe type which does not work with this app please include this in the next update 2) Could you also please add a feature to take a picture of a documet or a card so it can be diaplayed along with the password.

M70%
by M####:

:-/ I was excited about this app. I literally JUST installed the app and it's saying "No fingerprint hardware detected" ... so, now that long convoluted password that I created, I must enter every time just to get to 1Password. My fingerprint hardware definitely is there and works because I use it for banking. Running Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (SM-N910V) Android 6.0.1 Also, I'm sure the feature is there but it's not obvious: automatic strong password generation? How?

K70%
by K####:

The app is not importing my passwords correctly. I am coming from the iOS version of the app and a lot of my passwords are not being shown correctly or at all. Please fix this problem

M70%
by M####:

Great app. User friendly. Only criticism is the fingerprint entry no longer works with the latest Samsung firmware update on Galaxy S7. Would give 5 stars if that worked.

V70%
by V####:

glitchy, this app is fading fast even on iOS which it was designed for. I wrote to support to inquire about the app supporting yubikey After which I was insulted by an apple-worshipping elitist ignoramus. I'm looking for a new password manager.

M70%
by M####:

Obviously a good Apple App poorly ported to Android. Doesnt capture new logins or autofill existing passwords. Can't add or edit tags. This may be related to Android limitations, so why the 5 stars on the Android store when it's half the product it is in Apple?

M70%
by M####:

I've tried other apps and always come back to 1password.

H70%

It's an app. It stores passwords. It's expensive. For an app. It doesn't sync with Google Drive. Google Drive is used by a ton of people. I dislike this app.

M70%
by M####:

Best app I"ve bought as it saves time, frustration and makes digital life and security easier. I use it every day.

This app was a wonderful tool until the latest update that forces you to subscribe in order to edit existing content that is stored locally not on theirs servers.

After an update all my passwords were deleted. Can't recover the account, gonna be a major headache regaining access to multiple accounts with the passwords!

Use it on all my devices and it works great. No more having to remember long complex passwords.

No mention of price until after you have spent 3 hours typing in your passwords. There are many free better solutions out there! Now i have to retype all my passwords in another app because this one is locked out unless i pay. Well youre not getting my money even though 3 hours of work would be worth the price! Grrrr

M70%
by M####:

Love 1Password however the Android app leaves much to be desired. Items are locked when syncing which takes about 20 seconds and sometimes fails. Needs a UI refresh to bring it upto par with its iOS counterpart. Update: Sync works great now and items do not get locked anymore. Thanks!

M70%
by M####:

Still a decent app, but the move to a subscription model is not to my tastes. Plus, backups of vaults made on the Mac won't open on Windows. Unforgivable. I've bailed and now use Enpass. Used 1P for 5 years, but they lost me.

T70%
by T####:

Not working on Huawei Mate 9. Turn on enable auto filling and it turns off 30 mins later. When auto filling is turned on, passwords are not autofilled. My personal computer is Linux so cannot use on my laptop. Started using lastpass and seems much more reliable.

M70%
by M####:

Long time user on Mac & iOS. This version is a dreadful waste of time on my Xiaomi. Won't accept (or won't remember) fingerprints, won't find the URL for logins, won't remember that filling is enabled. Won't even paste reliably. Ugh!

M70%
by M####:

Remembering so many passwords was getting frustrating. The Chrome integration, the windows app and the android app all working together is great. I also appreciate the advice on the website about starting with a good password in the first place.

M70%
by M####:

Fingerprint recognition broken in latest update on Google Pixel. Open the app and it immediately shakes and says fingerprint not recognized, even when a finger isn't yet placed on the scanner. When you enter the password to open the app and try to reset the fingerprint scanning, it does the SAME THING - shakes before a finger is even on the scanner, then says too many attempts and refuses to set up fingerprint scanning. Fingerprint scanning still works with everything else (device unlock, other apps that use it, etc.). [Update: Uninstalled/reinstalled (again), opened and linked vault (again), closed the app, restarted device, opened the app, went to Settings > Security > Enabled Fingerprint unlocked, rescan of fingerprinting now works.]

Been relying on this SECURE password generator and protector for a long time - on iPhone, Windows desktop, Android tablet, and Android phone. Without it I would be using some awful easy to hack password for everything. Thanks AgileBits.

I love this app it has a good performance, and the service is really good, you can synced and use over chrome / mac, etc. And i am using the family version which is really good. The only suggestion is when I am using the app and try to login in some app i have to browse all the logins and choose the app that want, this is not happening on Chrome I understand they probably can know the website url and match the login but on android you can do something similar (like if the app is open, etc) so, it is not that bad, it is an extra step that could be avoid and since it is in mobile version we are looking to do things much faster. Keep the good product.
