The other did not, using forked-daap server

I use a Firefly server on a NAS and have been searching for a good DAAP client. Shareplay works well and I particularly like how it caches the song catalogue for speedy access, but it doesn't seem to handle smart playlists consistently. Sometimes the playlist is truncated, other times it's empty when I know there is content, e.g. recently added. If this was fixed it would rate five stars as it would do everything I need.

I use this app to stream music from my home when I'm at work or on the move, unlike other DAAP apps this one doesn't randomly stop playing and runs really well. Developer is also very helpful when there was a problem with the previous version.

This is the best working DAAP client I have found for Android so far. It works well, doesn't crash and responds quickly when switching songs. I do miss controls on the notification screen or lock screen, and album art display.

Loads about 0.5% of my library. Doesn't play any of them.

Really awesome. If you have a iTunes server and want to stream to your phone then you will be happy !

I would like to try this app, but I can't because all my music files are in ogg, and the app does not see them... otherwise the app seems fast and responsive.

Slow and buggy

S70%

Fast loading of info from server but totally useless artist selection as you have to drag scroll through the whole list. Also fails to handle compilation albums properly and shows them multiple times. Also for no apparent reason it throws an error and refuses to play tracks other daap media players handle. .. even restarting doesnt fix these "problem" files

Works really quickly. Shame it only downloads single tracks. Would like to be able to download whole playlists or albums.

Very nice application.

Love the concept. But crashes often, on my Samsung Nexus S and Firefly server with 4000+ songs. Also, UI clumsy in long lists; metadata display off.

This app seems to find servers on network quickly and the caching of songs is very nice, especially on servers with many songs. All that make it a very fast daap client. The lists (artists, albums and songs) need a fast scrolling slider and smaller fonts! Clicking on play should start playing a song even if I did not manually choose first a song in the list. [Update: 2 feature requests I had has been fulfilled: shufle playing and wav support. Thanks to the dev. So +1 star!]

It is usable with daap share, but there is no search option, so it sucks hard. Scrolling through 12k library is a hussle

Crashes every time on startup with sqllite database lock error
