eCamino for Android
(to prepare) for the Camino (French Way)
Wont accept any credit card or Paypal. Useless.
don't buy
I have installed the Android version. I have subscribed. It is designed to be used for the French Camino. I am not experiencing any of the issues described in the other reviews. If you properly exit the app, it will not drain your battery. The only shortcoming I am having at the moment is being able to share on Facebook while using the mobile app. I emailed the developer and he has replied back to me. I am not sure if this is an app shortcoming or if it is my phone. The app uses GPS to determine what albergues are in your area. It is based upon John Brierley's guide book and has everything the guide book does. I would definitely purchase the subscription again.
I have installed this on anticipation of walking the Camino on s month or two. It looks as of it could be useful but ever since I installed it I have been puzzled about high battery usage, and the phone being warm to touch. Digging into battery issue with a battery monitor app showed that this single app took 55% of my battery usage today, and it wasn't, to my knowledge, even running. It seems to run continuously in the background all the time although there is no indication that this is happening. Poor.

After downloading an update during installation I got an error saying unable to set everything up... samsung galaxy note 4 with android 4.4.x I have now managed to install the program and update without an error message only now it drains the battery really fast, not something you want to happen when out on the road! The app doesn't do anything useful unless you pay for the 'book' which I did. The app quoted 9 euros but I had to pay 9.99 euro! I have ended up uninstalling it again.

Need to sign in and/ or register but wouldn't let me do either.

Way too cumbersome. Bought guidebook, expected app to come with it. Not so. Have to pay again. Ridiculous.
