AFAR Mobile App

Please update and redesign this app. I would love to use it more but I am unable to add locations in and cannot share posts to Twitter. I also want to be able to see my posted highlights and more on my profile.

Don't give me a reason to be jealous of iPhone users. Please update it to the same version they have!

Love the mag guys and gals but c'mon! Time to update this puppy! It is very dated and low resolution. A tablet version would also be nice. In its current form it scales poorly on a tablet.

Stick to the web page

Outdated, inconsistent UI and lots of bugs. A terrible companion to an otherwise useful and interesting website.

I've been a subscriber and fan from day one, but please, update! I'd have posted at least twenty more highlights if the app actually worked...

Force closes, leaves GPS running after you close the app, and can't like highlights or add them to a wishlist because it says "no network connection." Uninstalled.

Nice idea, but why not let us search for a destination? Extra frustrating that it looks like you can search for any location but whatever you type in the box you get results for your current location instead.

I love the content of this app, but I wish it did not keep a geo locator process running when I close the app. I have to force close it to get the gps to stop.

I love that I can read AFAR magazine content on my phone now, and the content from other travelers is AMAZING. I can't wait to take my next trip!

Not up to date. There are more options and better options to do than listed. App needs a MAJOR upgrade

Really useful content. Insightful and interesting perspectives. But GPS is active ALL the time. Appreciate that geo tagging is needed sometime but shouldn't the GPS be used only for those times?

Beware of battery issues This is one of those apps that will absolutely destroy your phone's battery life.
