Cant view laws for hobbyists without setting up an account with personal info , i chose not to , got a push notification telling me it requests special permissions i clicked on it expecting to see an explanation of what permisions exactly next thing i know its scanning my sd card, like wtf iv got nothing to hide but who runs this app i bet my review of it will be down by morning . How about you guys put that manpower into making all laws for hobbyists clear and accessible to everyone on google and youtube

I cannot find away to edit the flight log page once a flight has been saved. It would be nice to go back in and add notes I forgot the first time. Also, while checking out the app I saved a "test" flight that was not a flight at all but just a test to see how the app worked. I would like to delete that now. Is there a way to do that? If so then its a 5 star app!

Great way to manage all my batteries, flight time, & airframes. I have familierized myself with the AUS regs and prefer them to FAA, which is waffling at best and swayed by sensational media stories... But, I digress.

Only got this app in hopes to find the locations i cant fly at, after going through the app twice i see no part that lets me unless i have to make a profile for a quadcopter in the first case. In this case it does nothing when i try to add a quadcopter and for some reason there is a bar code scanner? (Not sure how this helps) so im unable to make a craft profile :/ s5

The interface is just annoying and unintuitive. It would be nice if I could view the airport map without going through the flight log.

C70%
by C####:

This app really needs a tutorial or something, the buttons on the main page mean very little and findinf the map of legal places to fly is not intuitive.

C70%
by C####:

Used very quickly, seems good. Only point I would make is that I cannot get it to go into landscape, only portrait available, any ideas?

C70%

Great app but for some reason in the battery log it won't let me add a before charge voltage value.

Love it! Thank you! New update fixed barcode crash it now works as intended. Using Galaxy S5 running 4.4.4 on Sprint.

Am I not looking in the right area? I can't see where to add fixed with aircraft

D70%

This app shows am exclusion zone greater than 5.5 Km from the Townsville airport. Ruling out some areas that you can in fact use but the app shows that you are within the exclusion zone.

The app looks good and the concept is great. But when it came to label the UAV is where the problem is. It won't let me type the name or type of UAV. What looks like a bar code scanner (the UAV and Battery have qr codes) click that and the app crashes. Had to hard reset the device. Galaxy S4

Congratulations on creating a flight logging that can provide information near an airport / helipad / seaplan etc, BEFORE you fly. I do like the idea of battery management with barcode scanning. In addition RPAS LOGGER LITE, can log flights and prevent a drone or battery from being selected to fly when there is a logged issue. RPAS LOGGER LITE is on the right track, but could use improvement when it comes to safety check lists. It would be nice if the user of the app could add comments when first identifying an issue from the checklist item and add a photo to visually know where an issue may be with hardware, similar to iauditor. The cool quadcopter interface is not user intuitive/friendly. Overall, this is the best flight logging app on the android market. I look forward to the potential of this app.

The bar code scan feature causes the software to crash. Apart from that it is great. It would be great if you could add fixed wing RPAS as well.

I have galaxy 5s and it crashes otherwise i would buy great features but wont work for me

Knowing where you can and can't fly legally is typically a pain to figure out sometimes. This app takes care of that issue by finding and showing all of the no-fly and restricted zones within several hundred kilometers around your location. If nothing else this app will save you a lot of legal headaches with the FAA and various other authorities in your area. Remember maximum 400ft ceiling for us hobbyist flyers, telemetry radio only 915mhz (868mhz is restricted in some areas US). 5.8ghz or 1280 for video

Great concept, but the App crashes hard whenever you select the bar code scanner. I have to take the battery out to recover the phone.

Great app, a version for recreational pilots with less logging features would be awesome also.

Please make it so the app can be used in landscape only. Some screens are ok others not. Irritating but does not stop using it.

I'm planning to get my RPA Certificates in the near future & this app will prove to be very useful. It's a little fiddly at first but it is easy to work out. Trying to work out if there is an easy way to re-arrange my pre flight checks before I deleted them all & enter in the correct order.
