Astonishing Comic Reader

Whenever I try to add an SD card path, it says it isn't the one I'm looking for? Well, just before,it said "pick a comic and our team of heroes will do the rest". Apparently your team of heroes is from the "What The?" Verse because they blow. Also, none of the files are corrupt, but the app states they are. Funny, because Perfect Viewer reads them fine. Go download that instead.

I don't know if it's the comics I downloaded or ACR, but some of its (comics) pages get lost and jumbled with others. This is no problem if you're patient in finding the lost pages and reading backwards, but it can be irritating to others. But overall, I really like this app. Thanks!

I love this app!! I only have 2 minor issues keeping it from profection.. 1- the ability to rearrange comics within my collections.. 2- the option of, once a comic has been put into a collection. It would not appear in my library.. If the developer's read these... Please give me these options!! With the hundreds of issues I have.. it's nearly impossible to find newly added or missed collection comics.. please be my hero and help me out!!! Keep up the astonishing work guys!!

The best comic reader on the appstore right now...

This app kicks so much ass! I have a minor issue though where sometimes comics gets added twice to the library, so i have duplicates everywhere. Also, if i could delete comics from my collection from within the app it would be great.

Love the app! Super annoyed that after moving comics to SD card, they all show up twice in my library. Please fix!

Really easy to use, clean interface, it's free, and you can take screenshots. The only negative is there are random crashes, but very infrequent. Overall, I highly recommend.

A great app, but the cached comics showing up in my photo gallery is kinda annoying. Don't know if that's on your side or Google Photos' though.

App is really awesome. Need some online catalog too and do something about the screen orientation, landscape to portrait switching time is quite slow

Absolute gatbage. Unlike its competitors, Astonishing Comic Reader cannot "see" comics stored on removable storage cards when using devices powered by Android 6.x... I am aware that this is due to limitations in Android 6.x, but Astonishing Comic Reader's competitors (ComicRack & Komik) have found work-arounds, so why has Astonishing Comic Reader not done so also? Furthermore, the support e-mail does not work and returns a "user not found" error.

Like the design. But some of my covers are mixed up.

Update: Seems to have a will of its own in regards to cover managment. When I was using it, I did not see 80% of the covers. It gets the job done, you can read your comics. I do have one, for now, feature request: can you make it really fullscreen, taskbar gone also ? I'm a dev myself, I know it only takes a single change to a single attribute in the manifest file. Thanks.

Really bad. Very slow, buggy, changing pages is not smooth, crashed a few times, etc.

Nearly perfect app. Might have been personal error but I couldn't get the transition from one title to the next to work seamlessly. I'd recommend

Surely the best comic reader for Android. Especially suitable for small screens where comic reading can be an ordeal. Look no further. This is the ideal comic viewer.

Lots of issues with crashing and comic pages not loading. Not frequent, but too often to ignore

Its ok but i have downloaded 44 comics but only read 3 or 4 idk whats the problen im going to change phones if it does not work im giving it 1 start

Impossible to find anything. This app doesn't even have a simple browse function that would allow me to choose the file I'm looking for. Instead I have to use a cluttered library screen buries my target amongst every sub-folder on the device.

Its good but every time I wanna search for a certain comic and I wanna click it it'll goes back to the first comic which starts with the beginning letter 'A'

I enjoy it, works well.. The interface is simple to navigate and it only crashes when I have several applications open.

It's pretty nice.. It would have been more awesome if the errors with the import file button was cleared..

I think the app is ok.My son likes the app.But there is some problem issu.Sometime it couldn't load a page for a while.If you ask me i will give it the best comic or cvr reader ever i have seen.

I've used comic rack and about every other free reader available. This is the only functional reader I've founf that doesn't crash. It also plug-ins for Google Drive, ES File explorer and others.

While this is one of the best apps I've used for actually reading comics, the layout isn't exactly the greatest, and the fact it continues to display my files twice is extremely irritating.

Great Good app but suffers from some issues when trying to sort collections and losing files if they are moved into a folder in the same directory they were originally downloaded to.

It was terrible i couldnt add any new comics, there are fake submitions on here and fake ratings

Can't open many compressed CBR/CBZ files for god knows what reason. Other comic viewers seem to open the comics just fine, but don't have as sleek UI as this

It is good that the app does not have any ads which is very good as it distracts from the content. Why does this app opens pdf files when I can't render them. I tried to open pdf files with this app but they don't open. Remove it from app selection for pdf files.

Very easy to use. I've tried other apps and this one is the best. A few things to improve but overall, great app

Great, customisable interface totally let down by some of my comics (that work fine in other readers) inexplicably appearing totally blank.

When I move a comic to sd card it reads in duplicate. Annoying

Why is there always a header that cuts off the top of the comic?

It's just plain good. The interface is clean and it just works and there aren't any ads that just make you want to uninstall. The app is simple but that's why it's perfect. The perfect comic reading app

Awesome app updates automatically can do all that those other paid apps can do but best of all no adds. You heard it clear no adds what so ever.

Simply the best. Was able to read what all the other suggested ones couldn't. Gonna get down on some Junji Ito tonight thanks to this app.
