About HCAD PHI
HCAD PHI is a mapping application based on GeoJSON (app default) and KML,KMZ,SHAPEFILE, CSV(Coordinates) data loaded locally or WFS (OGC) datas online to collect data. Locally loaded datas can be edited and saved. Supports google map views and etc.views. Application needs GPS, direction sensor to get your location and direction.

Applications default data format is GeoJSON. It loads and saves GeoJSON data. Another format is KML or KMZ (OpenGis standarts). Also application loads and saves KML files. Coordinates can be saved as CSV (Comma seperated coordinates file) or can be opened. GeoJSON data properties are localized.The user must avoid loading the data differently from the localized data in order to be able to run the data correctly. Also shapefiles dependent ( shp, dbf, shx) files needs to be in same directory.
Application supports saving DXF (Direct Exchange Format). But do not support loading DXF files. Application loads Shapefiles. Save is not supported.
Converting your shapefiles,kml and geojson datas to each other is very easy.
One of the most crucial features of the application is the GIS COLLECTIONS section, which works just like local wfs. User can load GeoJson, KML or KMZ, or CSV files as GIS collection for further use. This dataset is only for viewing or getting info about datas but cannot be edited.
Supports ITRF96 (International Terrestial Reference Frame) both 3 & 6 degree wide Geodetic Systems. European Datum 1950 (Mean) , Universal Tranverse Mercator (UTM), Latitude-longitude (WGS84).
Wfs (Web Feature Service) support. Application uses OpenGis or Geoserver standarts. Reads limited fields in GML data (coordinates, names).
Default WMS layer is google maps layers. Bu user can select another WMS (OpenStreet etc.) layers. Application uses offline map viewing by user choice.
Application allows user add point, lines, polygons by clicking. By this way also measuring length, area is avilable.
Coordinate Editor is for editing,deleting coordinates.
User can navigate to any polygon, polyline or point.
Listing Polygons for viewing, searching, getting adress or information about data.
User can edit lines, polylines and polygons by click or by editing coordinates in info screen. Edited datas can be saved. Only loaded datas can be edited, GIS collection dataset cannot be edited.
