Ice Client : Steam™ Trading

I really love this concept! Much better than the official app! One more thing though! Could it be possible to have more than 5 most recent conversations at the top? That'd be amazing. (Edit: I updated to Android Oreo, and the constant notification and message notification doesn't seem to work for me, hopefully this can be fixed.)

This is pretty much a direct upgrade from the original steam app. There is no reason you would not use this instead. The idling does not work when the screen is locked and you have to log in every 5 minutes, which kinda defeats the purpose.

It's an awesome and useful app to have more than one steam account at the same place, but it has an error of retrieving API data, I can't see my inventory, my games and other stuff. But it's an app very, very useful and I like it.

As you know steam mobile app doesn't let you redeem keys but this app does the job. It's hastle free, friendly UI. I Totally recommend this to others use this.

It says "A WebAPI key was not retrieved." I didn't get my free PA loading screen because of this.

I actually bought the premium version so i can idle my games, sadly... The idle stops when you lock your phone, and you logout from your steam account, so in order to idle, you hae to keep your phone screen ON, re-log every 5minutes, thats bad...

Worked for some time, then eventually just failed to log in, making it unusable.

Add avatar on login phase please.

Really good alternative to official client with some extra features. The only thing missing is offline status (option to start app with offline status, like on desktop, would be ideal). I don't want my friends to see, that I'm idling games. I won't reply anyway, as I'm away during idling, so it's confusing for my friends

Awesome app and great alternative to steam app. I have one problem. I'm getting no incoming trade offers push notification on my phone although sound notifications are fine for messages. Icy disconnects when I turn off the display of my phone.. Any help? If I manage to solve this issue I will gladly pay for premium.

Excellent alternative, bought it for the idle function, really useful, thank you ☺ Edit: Latest updates let you stop idling and fixed the inventory bug, kudos to the developer. Hands down best steam client on android.

The app can't view my library or trades. It says it can't retrieve a webapi key. I tried to log out and back in without success.

Haven't used for very long but I can already tell it's much better than the official steam app. I've has a nice material look to it but there are a few tweaks that I would make to make it feel better. This is a small tweak change the status bar to the same color or a slightly darker version of the action bar color. The action bar icons look unusually big I'm on an LG v20 if that helps. Some padding on items in the inventory screen would help, on my device it looks like the items are extending past the right side of my screen (also some padding/margin on the craft button and enable crafting checkbox would look better). On the user profile menu (mine and others) have a series of buttons and a summary cardview underneath, on profiles of other players the buttons are in a pretty awkward grid layout also the buttons would probably looks better if the left and right padding/margin were aligned to the cardview. Overall great app i recommend Ice over the official steam app. I hope that some of the graphical tweaks are heard and fixed.

Has literally done nothing that the Steam app couldn't provide. Has sent me NO trade notifications, is unable to view my inventory and is generally just a downgrade from the official app.

Great concept, but when I try to open my inventory or trade I get: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'java.lang.String org.json.JSONObject.getString(java.lang.String)' on a null object reference

This is a much better alternative to the normal Steam app.

This app USED to be good. I can't even look at trade offers without it crashing and my log in expires like every time I get back on. The can't send trade offers because the person's inventory does not appear after 10 minutes. The inventory does not show and it keeps saying, "Input string" then a bunch of numbers.

This is bullcrap. It keeps logging out my account. I can't even use the steam browser and look at the codes at the same time. I can't even remove the authenticator on that app. I can't even trade and look at my inventory because it keeps giving me error.

Pretty good. I have successfully traded using this app whenever I need to do so in a pinch. But constant use gets annoying, as your steam authenticator changes expires and you have to wait a bit to trade afterwards.

I really think it's a great app but my steam trading like when I want to trade throough the app isn't working. For example I go into the trade then nothing happens for about 3 minutes then it just fails and crashes. Can you guys fix this?

i know now why i cant put authenticator from this app. I must put my no. on this. I solved my problem

Thank you! I needed a activation key to active and I didn't have my desktop on me. Saved my life.

Steam app wasn't letting me even chat properly without bugging out. This app solved the problem quickly, looks smooth.

Honestly, I like it a lot. But there is only one problem, that browsing the steam store is awfully slow, even next to my router, and sometimes it even gets stuck on the wishlist and hangs on a loading screen. Other than that, this client is faster than the official one in every other way
