REI National Park Guide & Maps for Android
We visited Yosemite without doing much planning and this app was great for finding hikes to do. Unfortunately we had to leave early so I wasn't able to test all the features though the offline maps didn't seem to be great so hence the 4★ rating. Still a recommended app though.
I was doing a cross country trip, hitting a lot of national parks. I didn't have time to do a lot of research before hand but this easy to use app really helped me.
After the last update all the national park maps vanished. They aren't available and there's no way to turn them back on. Now there are zero maps available!
As a resident and lover of the Ozark Mountains, this app is useless. Even though we have the Buffalo National River (the first national river) there are no trails for the area though they're everywhere around.
Used it daily on our week in Rocky Mountain this August. The maps were great and showed me exactly how far we had gone and the elevation. Can't wait for more parks to be added.
Wow! Thank you REI! The wealth of information and ease of use is unbelievable. I think the National Park Service should cut you a check for providing the public with this incredible service. I hope this program will always be available for people to use in their exploration of our country's gifts to the world. Hats off.
Excellent app, full of good reading if you're thinking of visiting one of the National Parks, with ideas for trails to follow, likely weather conditions, places to stay, etc. Pretty much all the advice you'd need to prepare, and whilst there!
I like it BUT whenever I view a photo I am stuck there and have to close the app.
I'm going to a roadtrip between Colorado, Utah and Wyoming, this app is going nuts!
Idk why there is no white mountains anywhere in this app ! You left out a huge chunk of the AT.
Worked great for letting us know where we were whenever we were hiking. Yellowstone, Devil's Tower, and Grand Tetons.
It's great to have jest in case you wondering what up there or near you. What Aventure you looking for or having fun around you.
Appears to use online data, which isn't much if you don't have a data connection or visiting with data disabled
Beautiful app! It is very easy to navigate and provides great info. Thank you, REI!
Wish I had this app years ago. After planning several family vacations to national parks from sea to sea, north to south, I appreciate the level of detail and ease of use.
Seriously amazing and well made app. They really took a look at anything you may want or need to do from the hiking and sightseeing to even looking for lodging. Perfect. Exactly what I want.
Good info.
Nothing works as stated
No map for trails in the Phoenix metro area.
This app looks amazing! I wish this app was in Canada and had Canada's parks (including provincial).
To Do List not usable
Easy to use and useful. Thank you, REI.

This app is wonderful! I'm using it to research hiking trails for my trip to Yellowstone this summer. I love how much information it has about each trail and the to-do list feature. I wish there were more ways to search for specific trails, like a search feature and/or options to sort by difficulty, distance, or area of the park. It's kind of hard to find specific trails other than just scrolling through the list.
