GIPI

Gastrointestinal Parasite Identifier or simply known as GIPI is an android mobile application that identifies the gastrointestinal parasite specimens that are common in the Philippines.

Its purpose is to provide a solution in identifying gastrointestinal parasite specimens in a quicker and more efficient way. GIPI provides quick and important information about the specimen that the user needs to know.

The user would only need to take a picture of the specimen through the lens of a microscope using the rear camera of their mobile phones or tablet, or import them from the gallery if there is already an available image, and the application will automatically process the captured or imported image by searching the match through its database for the closest match of the processed image.
