There's a certain standard we've come to accept from video apps. The ability to go back a few seconds if you miss something is a requirement. The ability to go back and forth /easily/ and find where you were is a requirement (emphasis added for clarity. It doesn't show you where you are, time-wise, so you just have to guess). The videos ability to continue playing without crashing is a requirement. This app has none of these.

This app is fantastic. It lets me watch Rick and Morty wherever I may be in the multiverse (as long as there's service.) However, when I play something the notification bar and (on screen) home button don't dissapear. It would be fantastic if they did dissapear. Would be five stars if they did. Sorry I'm a stickler for that kinda stuff. If you guys need a model try the YouTube app. Please fix so I may view Pickle Rick I'm his full Pickley glory.

I love it. You guys give free shows without using your service provider and I gotta tell you I watched 4 episodes of brak last night and it was amazing. Please put more in and one of my favorites is big o please please put that in. Also the live shows last night were funny as hell. Keep up the good work guys. Huge fan of adult swim. ????

Well I like the app the only problem is, I can't get access to all the shows I like. Like I only get a few episodes of each series. My parents don't have cable so I thought it'd be nice to be able to watch as much adult swim shows that I wanted but I don't have access to the first view seasons of shows. It's not even the full season most of the time. I would prefer it if it would provide the first season or two then if I really like the show I could watch more of it if I got cable.

So I'm catching up on my dragon Ball super shows and I gotta say I'm a lil upset I'm on episode 26 I tried watching 27 but it isn't there it just skips to 28. In my opinion y'all should have it where we could go to each season and watch the shows one by one I literally had to go on a different website because y'all didn't have episode 1-15. Other then that the app is good awesome picture and sound I hope someone gets back to me about this.

It is overall a good app. You can watch all of your favorite shows. I thought you could download videos but I confused it with netflix. It would be a really neat feature if you were able to download videos I suggest that they add it. Also thank you for replying to my comment its rare to see companies replying and listening to feedback.

Love you guys but the app needs a lot of work. No Chromecast support. Streaming stops after 2mins (it looks like an ad is trying to load). I had to pause a stream to switch to another app and when I switched back had to start the stream from the beginning. Edit: thanks for the response. Glad to hear the streaming issues were because of Rick and Morty (amazing show). Please work on Chromecast support

Please add a cast button! I watched Rick & Morty last week on the livestream which I can cast to my TV. This week however that wasn't available (and it won't be ever again) so I was forced to use the app on Sunday night for the simulcast. However because there's no cast feature I'm forced to use my tiny phone for two people to watch. I have a cable login, I have the app, please let me enjoy the shows on my TV!

It's a great app, I feel the video player needs an for the Samsung Galaxy S8 as the navigation menu shows through the whole show. I can't complain about the ads because I am getting to watch this whenever I want, wherever I want (as long as internet connection is present [duh]) also I'm drunk and I keep pressing the nav menu

Want to like this app but in the middle of watching Rick and Morty I get to the point where it plays some ads. I have no problem with the ads but after they are over the show will come back for a split second and then the ads loop all over again. It's like I'm stuck in a endless loop of ads and I can't even finish watching episodes 6 on season 3

Needs it's own subscription. I know that it is free, but it needs to be a pay to play model in order to give certain shows that are popular an avenue that avoids cable providers that bundle very expensive entire channels. For someone who is a fan of a single show , they should not be expected to pay for not only that show and the entire channel, but dozens of other cable channels. Adult swim should move closer toward being a Netflix or Hulu of its own. This way original programming can be accessible for reasonable prices without having to pay for 50 other channels.

Where's the Chromecast support? Why would you build a mobile app in 2011 and then release multiple updates over the next 6 years (of which the latest build deployment was March 2017) without that capability baked in? Seems like a clear miss for an app with 6 years of lead time [Updated review to reflect proper dates per the developer feedback...]

The absolute worst streaming experience I've ever had. Contantly freezing in the middle of your show, only to show you an add, and once the ad is finished, it doesn't even take you back to your episode, so then you have to reload the episode, find your spot, only to have another add play. Why can't you just put your shows on Netflix or something, I'm pleading. You do not know how to operate a streaming service. I just want to watch a 20in episode in less than 1 hour but it's impossible with adult swim.

The videos will freeze but the tracker keeps moving. Then the videos pick up where the tracker is. Its basically unusable. To the developer: it happened in the two new episodes of Bedtime Stories, I've havent watched any other shows on the app after those. I watched a show on the app weeks ago, and didnt experience the problem.

It is very useful for its' exact purpose. I mostly use it for catching up on shows that I missed on TV. The only reason it isn't 5 stars is because some of the series' episodes disappeared making it impossible to watch a series. An example of this is Supermansion. It had all of season 1 on there but now only has episode 4 and 13 on there to watch.

Does not have option for my cable provider (Time Warner Cable/Spectrum). Time Warner Cable and Charter have merged, but previous TWC owners can only log in through the TWC/Spectrum login, not the Spectrum/Charter login that is offered. HBO Go and other apps provide this log in option, but Adult Swim does not. I tried emailing a few weeks back before posting a negative review, but never received a response. Time Warner Cable and Charter are the same company and should have access to all the same channels, the only issue is that TWC requires a different login screen.

It's a great app, i personally don't have a t.v. but with this app I can watch some old shows and some new-great ones like rick and morty. My only complaint being it doesn't work till 8 pm

Can't login with DirecTV Now because it's (in your developer's own words) "not a real cable service provider." Meanwhile PlayStation Vue credentials work just fine. Why the inconsistency? Add DirecTV Now and I'll increase my rating.

You sign in with your tv provider watch part of the show, then get caught in and ad loop and wach ad after ad unable to skip or mute, touch the screen and you have to deal with 3 pop ups. Not really worth it. Rhis coming for someone who likes content AS puts out

I love this app. There are two reasons I didn't give it 5 stars. 1. When I watch an episode of anything it doesn't take up the entire screen of my device, like youtube or Netflix would, so it drains my battery life. 2. I was watching Tokyo Ghoul and clicked on the episode 12 only to realize it was mislabeled. It was the finale and not the episode before the finale. Major spoilers ????. Also Ep.1 season 2 is the same episode as the finale in season 1. I think there is just a glitch somewhere in the coding. I love [adult swim] so nothing could keep me away!

The ads load great! The shows themselves are a little less reliable. One or two minutes of playback, then a black screen. Tap back and reload the video and again the ad plays perfect but you have about a 25% of the actual video loading. And then once it finally does, another minute or two of watching and it's black again

I really enjoy this app Its just the best way to see my favorite shows in a app. One more thing Dear [adult swim] will you have the 2 and 3 season of FLCL on this app? Because that would be wonderful

If I have to watch the same ad for Silicon Valley one more time I'm going to flip out. Normally 2 or 3 adds per 22 minute show wouldn't be too bad but when it's the same ad over and over again it becomes like a bad twilight zone episode. It's driving me crazy.

How about supporting Chromecast for two more stars. Seriously, unless your contract with carriers is so bad that it prevents you from adding this simple and entirely necessary feature, there are zero excuses here. Even if there's some contractual stipulation preventing you from adding it, it's one that should never even have been agreed to. Whatever the problem is, fix it.

So the major downside is the lack of Chromecast support. I'm starting to think that these network apps who don't have Chromecast support might not have them because of an agreement and not because they need to consider or figure out how to implement it. I say this because the dev goes through and comments on almost everyones review and tries to fix the issues and solve problems. Without Chromecast I'll probably not use it. No other problems tho.

First time using this app. Unknown error has occurred...on every show I clicked on. I'm curious, what do you have here to actually entice people to use this app. I mean there's a lot of reviews other than mine that complain about this app, and they actually got to watch something. I'm not trying to bash you guys, but please understand, this app is pretty trash. You guys can do better. Also an influx of users shouldn't turn your app to garbage. Just saying.

It's really good. I can watch alot of my favorite tv shows. One thing is when I'm watching something and it reaches the arrow it just stops and doesn't do anything and I can't watch the show. I signed in multiple times

Totally broken. I get to watch the same Old Spice ad 8 times because the video stops playing and crashes 45 seconds into an episode. Genius move by the ad sales team.

The makers of this app need to implement Chromecast support. To say to reviewers that you will take their Chromecast support in consideration is like a music app saying they will take headphone support in consideration. Chromecast is already now... It's not the future.

Tried watching an episode of Rick and Morty and kept crashing. When I finally got it to actually start playing it would just pause the episode and skip ahead about ten seconds or so, and just kept doing it.

I downloaded it a few days ago, put in my cable info & was off enjoying my favorite adult swim shows. Tried to open the app the next day and every day since it just keeps popping up a refresh button. (Using a Note 4)

Chromecast support. Chromecast support. Chromecast support. If this is the way I have to watch Rick and morty, you need to update your app to support this. The app is frustrating to use to begin with, but to only find that it doesn't work with Chromecast, it might as well be uninstalled, because people need Chromecast support. It's easily available in the Android SDK, for the record.

Love the selection of shows but almost every time i watch something on my phone, small chunks of episodes will be missing, from like 5 - 30 seconds. For example, watching T&E bedtime stories, the episode will skip from 1:30 to 2:12 and i am unable to select anything between these times, and this will happen multiple times in an episode of anything i watch. This is my only issue but its something ive never experienced with any other streaming app and its immensely frustrating

Ridiculous that Adult Swim doesn't allow sign-in for Direct TV Now subscribers, but do for other streaming services such as Playstation Vue. I have immediate viewing available through live television, but streaming access through Direct TV Now is not available until many days after the original airing and access to the Adult Swim app is restricted. And when I do finally have access to the shows, am I offered any reprieve from ad content providing Adult Swim with revenue? Of course not...

How? It locks up all the time. Locks the orientation. Loads ads faster than the actual content. Has their dumb stream always load when you start the app. Also only media app that doesn't support Chromecast. Their website is trash and so is this. Hire better developers.

Your streaming app doesn't have Chromecast capabilities. I can't think of a single other reputable streaming source that doesn't have Chromecast. I don't mind the died down commercials or the occasional glitch but not having Chromecast just seems lazy. Once this is changed I'll change to 5 star.

Good start, but absolutely needs Chromecast support before I'll even think about giving a five-star review. Also, the autoplay feature will burn through half of a device's battery if you fall asleep while watching. Get with the times.

At the second commercial break, the app continuously plays ads. It doesn't appear to matter what show it is. I'm using direct tv as my cable provider and I'm on a Samsung Galaxy Note 5 with the os and app on the most current version. This is a new problem, recently as two weeks ago I was able to watch shows with no problem.

I greatly appreciate the free shows, however, I am completely unable to watch a single show all the way through! It will instantly stop on me and start an ad then 0.00/0.00 of the episode. The farthest I've gotten has been less than 2 minutes then it stops. I don't understand why.

Commercials get stuck in a loop and there's no way to bypass or stop them. Exiting and re-opening doesn't fix it. This has happened multiple times. It makes the app un-watchable.
