SketchBook - draw and paint

Though I love your app, use it regularly both for desktop and tabs. The current version doesn't have an option to 'discard' any changes for transform. As in if I resize or drag a section to another part of frame, there is an option to accept the change. No option to discard it. So to discard change one needs to accept it and undo. These two steps can easily be reduced by one more option. I hope to see that in the coming updates. Also I was curious, if there is any way to set dpi while choosing the image size and if that can be incorporated in the next version.

This app was excellent before the recent update, and totally worth the $5. Now it's incredible. The tools, brushes and UI have had major improvements. Definitely the best money I've ever spent on the Play Store. Works great with my Samsung Note 5 / S Pen, and even better with my Nvidia Shield K1 and Nvidia Stylus. I don't think I could be happier with an app this cheap.

I love this app it's the best if you are into drawing, for the developers how can I restore my purchase? A few months back one of my Gmail accounts was hacked and I had to change my password and I forgotten it.....yay...ops but I had actually purchased the full version in my previous account, I did how ever link it to my Facebook account, could that restore my purchase? I really wanna get back to drawing with the app, so I can make a digital copy of my artwork drawn by hand, then I use the app and line art it, then I add the cell shades and whalla, a nice drawing of my proudest works

Well I love it ???? but recently it has stopped working. I click the app, it shows a tutorial of some sort, I press the x, then there's no canvas and only shows a gray color. When I try zooming out, it takes me back to my home screen saying "Autodesk has stopped working" whilst showing an option to report or ok.

This app is amazing. I really do love this new update; tho I have noticed but one bug. After deciding not to make any changes and you go back to gallery it has flipped upside down and stays like that in my gallery. I also do not like the fact that the "sketch this" option is gone. This makes me very upset considering how much I loved it. It would also e noce to have an option to have the old format back so that i may find brushed better because i have noticed that some have gone away.

Been using this app for years but honestly the latest updates frustrate me. The new brushes are great and all but i can't even save my works, and everytime i try to open the gallery the app crashes, no matter how many times i restarted it always end up in the same result. Please do fix this, i loved this app.

I use SketchBook Pro for all my drawings and I've loved it so far it even has Copic markers which I've seen are very expensive. I love that Sketchbook Pro has all the tools necessary for creating any kind of art! And I think it's a great tool for all artists! And I'm very fond of the fact that SketchBook Pro is also linked with Deviant Art so I can submit my creations quickly when necessary.

5/5, 10/10, 100/100, whatever you call it! It's amazing! I wish I could give it more stars but I can't! Beautiful! So much amazing things to draw with, it really helps me too! I recommend you install this app right now! The only thing that kinda disappoints me is that you can't fill in.. If you can add that in, I'd love this app even more! Amazing! I wish there were more apps like this one

Could you add a few things? 1. a paint bucket tool to fill empty spaces. 2. More shapes for the shape tool. 3. Pixel edit: so we can make an easy drawing, then get a better sense of what we are trying to draw. Thank you for reading and I hope you take it into consideration. Have a great day.

EDIT The app icon has reverted to a green Android icon since the Tab A update today (05/01/18). A small thing but a bit annoying. ???? I absolutely love this app. The only thing I would change is to enable users to move the layer menu as it obscures the picture and you can't see what effect blending modes etc have unless you come out of the layer menu.

Interface is frustrating as hell, can't export out of png's. There are way better options out there like infinity painter. I'll say that the brushes feel smoother but only incrementally. Also Coptic library but that get a big meh. You would expect Autodesk to make something better in this space.

A little short on features. A more robust brush configuration dialog would go a long way toward improving this opinion. Maybe a library for user brushes too. The description of Pro Tools on the website does not seem to add much that some other free apps do not already have.

HORRIBLE!! DONT DOWNLOAD IT! The first flaw I noticed was the lack of an UNDO BUTTON!! if you do alot of digital art you will find the undo button your best friend but this lacks also the fill bucket tool. Which really upset me D:

I've been using SketchBook since I got a Note 3. There's a lot of things I like about this. But the thing that I enjoy the most is that it opens right on a sketch page. Not a Gallery. Or a select screen. Just pure sketching. However a big negative that I cannot seem to comprehend is what makes something a pro tool. In particular, the ability to move your drawing aside is not available for free but Color Balance is? I tend to draw in the middle and would like to be able to push a scribble up or down to make more room but I was baffled that I couldn't do that. Its still really great. And the new brushes are beautiful. I will have to wait and see if the ability to move my sketch is worth the 7.50 CAD price point.

Using the app (paid version) since few years now but the last update introduced a lag that kills the drawing experience. Competition as "artflow" does a better job. This made me switch to the competition. Really a pity because user interface and features are top notch. But all this is useless if the "feeling" of the actual drawing gesture is ruined by a lag.

Could be one of the best I have found so far on the market for artists getting in to the digital realm. Unfortunately, many of the tools fail to function or erratic when they do. This seems to be a consistant issue through product generations. I would still encourage anyone to give it a try, just be prepared for features to fail at times.

The brushes are beautiful. There is no need for a tutorial because the format is simple and easy to learn when you take the time to test features out. The brushes are gorgeous. I might be able to make Bob Ross art on here if I knew how. Five stars. *King George III voice* awesome, wow! Even Medibang was slightly laggier than this.

Very happy to see the "clutch" added to the Android verdion. All in all, a fantastic app. I have been having some problems with it on my old Note 8.0 tablet though. My .PSD files are really jaggy and Pinch To Gallery doesn't work. No problems at all on my Note 4 .

This app is great but it's starting to face tough competition. Other apps are giving me all the grid lines that I need to use on my tablet, and without having to pay pro version... (Which I do have for this app.) Pro version for tablet is a little underwhelming. If this changes, it quickly will get a 5 star rating again so I don't have to jump on Adobe and Sketch.

This app is amazing, I've been using it for 3 years (starting on IOS) and it has only since gotten better. With the latest version, I've noticed a glitch where using the fill tool (with sample all layers enabled) will still samples layers that have had their transparency turned off. This doesn't happen every time, though it does happen quite often. I'm using a Samsung Galaxy Note 4 on 6.0.1.

I've got to be very honest. There is quite alot of lag in brush strokes. It doesn't work well with a pen. In fact Google keep drawing is better. The functions and brush strokes are great but the lag makes it subpar. It would also be great if the app could lock the screen completely to the app (as an option) as if you get near the borders, the phone borders appear.

This app performs on every level except one. Excited about the update, this isn't just an exponential update, it's magnitudinal. This app is the best of corel painter and infinite painter combined, that and with .tif as the native file format, it just won me over. Still doesn't support split screen... since this is geared primarily to the galaxy note series (the only set of devices that support pressure sensitivity) you'd think autodesk would add this feature. Disappointingly annoying.

I really like the app, I use it to make my webcomic series. However at times it will crash and when I load it back up, the picture I was working on will be partially destroyed and I have to start over. That is my only complaint. I also would like a tool that selects areas that are the same color.

On my device (Asus zenpad z500) the app was great until last update. Now, hovering the stylus causes corruption on the display (small squares show up where the stylus is pointing, either white or with wrong data). At the moment the app is unusable.

It was absolutely perfect and now for some reason every time I draw it changes the colour of the lines that I make?!?!? If I was drawing skin it suddenly makes my strokes blue or green or red. Please tell me if I'm doing something wrong as this has ruined it for me.

Was using previous version and have loved it for years. This recent update has serious potential, but it restarts my note8 everytime. Very disappointed I am unable to use new features due to this fault.

Love the new look and features! This is the best on the Play Store! However, gestures aren't as responsive as before. ???? It takes like 5 tries to undo/redo/fullscreen. Most of the time it's placing dots on the drawings, not doing what it's intended. I've used this app for a while, I know where to tap.

Years ago I used to draw a lot, and now I've come back and it's been just pure joy and pleasure to use this app. Even though I'm out of practice I still get good results because of all the fantastic tools. I've upgraded to full version and it's worth every cent. So simple to use with endless possibilities!

I'm a smart phone user and prefered this app before it was updated recently. The pens are repeats and no differences. The quality is blurry up close and only appears slightly clean when zoomed out VERY far away. The new changes give frustrAtion because we were accustomed to the previous version. I don't think the Photoshop goal is meant for PHONES.

I dont know what I did wrong.. I must have done something wrong.. I selected red hue but what came out was green on the first stroke.. then colours kept changing randomly with every subsequent brush stoke. Overall, the product came out good. But colouring made me flustered. I hope its not an app issue. But if it is, then please fix this.

The new update is great.. however the lag when drawing is frustrating. Would also appreciate the option to have the new quick menue on tne right since im left handed... the menue constantly pops up when drawing and it gets annoying.

Loved this app before the update. Since the update, innacurate and lagging lines which makes it hard to do a job. One star only, because if I can't draw a semi-accurate line, what's the point of having this app?

Edit: after a few settings changes the lines flow nicely now, pressure sensitivity is a nice touch. Old review: When drawing lines, they tend to come out very shaky and not as sharp as I was used to, drawing tends to lag a bit as well. Previous version had my lines very straight; no shaky lines at all.

While this app does contain many new features, all of which are cool, it has eliminated one VERY important tool that had been a part of the free version before. You can no longer transform images on layers (i.e. you can no longer resize, flip, and rotate images on individual layers.) This is only available with the paid version. It was one of the most important features for me, and without it, images are incredibly difficult for me to edit. In addition, this new version no longer allows for you to click the + or - signs on the size/opacities of brushes in order to make it one point larger or one point smaller. This was also very important to me in the older version, for it is hard to get the exact same size on a brush without it. I am displeased with the removal of these features. Will gladly give five stars if they are added back.

Great app. Useful for all my drawing needs. My only gripe is that the Pro Tools are way too expensive. If Autodesk could knock it down by a dollar, I would definitely buy it. I also wish that they could create some sort of system or app that lets you animate with the same tools.

When I use this on my drawing tablet (which has pen pressure) I found that this has coufused thickness with opassity, and that really annoyed me because I have to press down really hard to get a solid line. If you could fix this that would be great.

I bought this app last christmas and I adored, it was a great app and I used it daily. Then, this new update comes out and it added a bunch of new stuff and I was super excited about it. And now, all it does is lags and crashes all the time. So if you could fix it and get rid of all the "short cuts" that would be great.

With one update, you took a beautiful, flawless program and junked it. And what sucks is, I had the pro version as well. But now with newest update, nothing works right or works when I don't want it to. That sucks too, I WAS making some killer art with this app. Why the hell did you guys do such a radical change?

I love this app, but a recent update has completely messed it up. Not by adding new features, but my app has very glitchy since, I can't really see anything that I draw, because the only bits that are visible are little pixels, and when I move a brush around to make something, they move around the screen! Please fix this soon, I really love this app!

Love that they are new tools and that you can make something look soo much like a real life painting. I used to use this app all the time before these new features for just doodling, but now I feel like I can actually make something which I can be proud of, all thanks to these new tools and brushes. So I'd say that this app is worth downloading.
