WakeVoice - vocal alarm clock

I wanted an app that read out the weather, calendar, and email subjects when it was time to leave for work. It doesn't do email. Fine, I can cope with that. Weather loads faster now but gives the current temp as the high and mistakes the really cold Temps like - 40 as hot. The calendar gets the time wrong for all events for half the year as here doesn't do daylight savings. Recurring events are always list as occurring on Monday. All day events are listed a day early. Update: Still has all these issues.

Works well and more fun than stock alarm. Being a very silly person I like waking up to a very silly custom voice message as well as getting a briefing about weather and schedule etc. As a lazy person I love the motion sensor activation function too.

I guess I just wish I was able to remember anything it says. I'm a zombie right when I wake up.

Have emailed tech support a couple of times and they blame their "weather provider" and work in progress, how long it will take to sort is unclear. Still ongoing issue, (1st Feb 2017), blaming weather provider outage.

I feel so sad that i purchased this! Seems like there's no more support for this, had to uninstall! Will put alarm at 8.55 and it'll go off at 9,sometimes even as far as 10mins late, something wrong with the apps ability to determine proper time! No one responded to emails sent to developer, nor did they try to contact in Google play store! Please don't purchase

The voice to "snooze" or "stop" does not work on my phone. It seems when my screen is locked that option will not work, which is the reason I bought this app. Lots of other good features though.

Its a scam. Don't buy. It will not read RSS feeds on a Samsung device, it is set up so that it will not use your dwvices preinstalled text to speech, asks you to install a voice from SVOX, which then doesn't work. Developer does not respond

I paid for this app. This one did not read my calendar or news on my Samsung S6. So I found a better app that is a talking alarm with many good free features.

I'm not crazy about. I installed on my nexus tablet and it has only horizontal view. My tablet seats on in landscape position. Also came with some other junk which I did not expect in paid option. Have to request my mony and remove this app.

Every morning the stop and snooze buttons don't appear on the wake voice app. When I try to snooze from the notification bar, it tells me that I have already snoozed the alarm when I really haven't meanwhile the alarm is still going off. Do you have any idea how annoying that is? It's a shame because otherwise I rather like this app. Won't stop from uninstalling it though if this problem continues.

very buggy with latest release. support doesnt respond to email. i think they gave up on the app

I enjoy having an alarm that gives me weather and news in the morning. And it's a bit witty which I enjoy. But every once and awhile it goes buggy.

Works every time for me. Love her sassy comments,nice to wake up with a smile on your face!!

Took a bit of setting up to get the voice recognition right, could do with more display settings but otherwise fine.

Is good when the Snooze & Stop buttons are showing, which is rarely so I have to restart my phone to stop it.

I can't get the app to hear me when I stay stop or snooze. Deleted

Used to like, but u removed ability to set radio streaming url...GRRRRRR

Works well still getting acquainted with the app.

I love the concept behind this app. Don't like the default voice.

I really love this app but for one issue. The issue of the lock screen stopping the voice recognition. I really hope this is something the developer can fix and that it's not a Google/Android issue. I recently started using Android pay and that forces you to have a lockscreen. I really dislike that this destroys my alarm clock experience. When I tried to convert wakevoice over to my Nexus 7 (2012), that gave me more Microphone issues. ADNFX Mobile: Please please fix or at least communicate that you cannot fix the issue with the lockscreen.

Used to be good. The alarm does not respond to turning off and can't find the ring tones I set it too, voice dies not even work. Very annoying for my spouse and I.

The Only alarm clock app that allows for individual messages for each alarm setting. So good, so far. Enjoy the humor setting too. I hope it will not develop any problems. :-) well now there is a problem. Sometimes when the alarm goes off, the stop doesn't show and you have to turn off your phone totally in order to stop it :-( am using a Samsung edge 7 phone. It's still the best one out there for now.

but now I can not stop the alarm in the morning ....very annoying ...no dismiss button and voice recognition does not come up..weather tells you the minimum temperature so pretty useless. . on samsung galaxy tab s2

Since I upgraded to Marshmallow, even after re-installing the app, it does not get into speech recognition mode anymore; it switches back to ringing the alarm after a second and a flash to the lock screen. -- HTC One m8. Sad to say, the exact same thing is happening with my new Samsung S7 -- No voice recognition.

I've been using this app for a few years now, and love waking up to the weather and news every morning. If you have Android 6+, the recommended speech packs won't work, but the default Android voice does so just use that.

Since the interface was updated early in the year the radio feature has not worked. I've tried other stations besides just my favorite station. No go. A year later and the radio has worked every day. Thanks for the fix.

was A great Alarm but just like All Apps they All Stop working - And this one stop working - does not stop After Voice Command !!

Works great when it works properly. On mine and my husband's phone, sometimes the stop and snooze doesn't show and you have to turn the phone off in order to stop the alarm. Otherwise, I love how you can personalize each alarm setting.

Not liking this app, just came back to it and even though both alarms were off...I still get an alarm, drove me nuts first thing in the morning.....deleted

I'm seeing a lot of mixed reviews and I'm not sure what to think, have had it for a week and all the features have worked fine for me, so long as that continues I'll keep it at 4 stars

Works..voice sucks..i know..we can purchase voices..no thank you..i already paid.i dont sleep with my data on to save..for this app to run properly the data needs to stay on.as the developers said..its not the app..its google tts.thanks and sorry..i did enjoy it at first.

Great app. Would be great if you could make the alarm music play simultaneously with the voice, have it read out detailed weather, such as wind, humidity, and sunset, and say a greeting at the beginning such as "good morning, it is..."

The only android program I have known to get worse over time. Done.
