ZFS Monitor for Android
Sadly abandoned by the developer. This app is definitely worth being updated regularly. It has great potential!
Invalid floating point. Possibly a localization issue.
cool idea but my device status is unknown for all drives - might be because i'm using a geli encrypted volume?
right now the only issues are I can't see the drive status only the zpool, it would be nice to get additional information such as Smarts to detect failures.. but one major suggestion is a widget would be great that would show a host status.. maybe even theme-able. Thanks! :)
Crashes every single time
Love it
The whole point of this app is to get your zfs pool health on the go. That means opening up your server to the internet which means at the minimum you should use SSH keys. The app looks good but is pointless at the moment
Works great, but it would be better to provide instructions, i spent quite amount of time until i realised i had to turn on SSH service in Freenas, it could also use ssh key support.
No options for ssh keys.. Too bad since it looks like a neat app
I like the concept, but I'm running into the same jsch Auth cancel error when attempting to connect to a free bsd 10.1 installation. Since it says to contact the developer can you provide any guidance on this issue?
Great zfs app
Love it
Now, if it had the option for multiple hosts and a fault alert notification, it would be magic!
Does an excellent job at what it does, but features are few. Lists pools, their devices, the health of the pool, and the pool space usage. Currently having a problem with pam on FreeBSD10.0 that prevents it from working. Works great with Arch Linux and ZFSonLinux.
Installed app on my ICS tablet. Found app would not update status. I was able to remove 2 of my 5 drives and app said all 5 drives online and functioning. Even after 2 hours!
Wonderful tool!! Hopefully you can add some widgets and a timed check option so it can alert for failures or issues on the server!!
Good app with a simple clean interface. Hopefully the developer will add more features to make it more useful. For example it shows when a scrub is in progress but doesn't show anything about its success/failure once its finished. It would be nice to at least see how long the scrub took. Another feature I'd like is to see the amount of disk space used for each dataset. NAS4Free (embedded version) running on a HP Proliant microserver with 4 x 3TB WDRed drives HTC Evo3D running ICS For my setup the parameter in the App for ZFS tools folder needed to be set to /sbin I also (obviously) needed to enable SSH access within Nas4Free
I've been using this app for over a year. Saved me from data loss once already.

Working well with Ubuntu with the described fix. Would be awesome to be able to set an interval for automated checks and have notifications if there are issues. Hopefully we'll see continued development
Very useful to monitor your zpools.
Allows for no hassle quick checking of the status of my zpools from my sofa. :)
Great app for zfs users that just keeps it simple and works. A "zpool iostat -v" view would be nice as an extra view.
N5 and freebsd. Gives me very unhelpful message about authentication issue and java...ssh apps work perfect with same password etc though
Just comes up with user info input no other info but updated date under server in list. P.S. Im using ZFS Stable PPA. Looks to be nice program cant wait for support.
Great app idea and the developer is superbly responsive. In Ubuntu you may have to add the following lines to ~/.bashrc : alias zfs='sudo zfs' alias zpool='sudo zpool' shopt -s expand_aliases and uncomment some of /etc/sudoers.d/zfs to allow passwordless zfs checks.
On the samsung galaxy note 2 connecting to nas4free returns error no zpool command. This is of course wrong and zpool command can be ran in a normal ssh session. Please fix and I will update my rating.
works great!
Very simple but the GUI is very nicely designed. A bit more information would be nice but no reason not to download it.
Can't input hostname
Great app! I run in to the occasional bug, but the developer is very responsive and quick to patch.
