FaxReceive allows you to securely receive a fax or receive faxes directly to your phone or tablet with a temporary fax number on a pay per use basis.
FaxReceive lets the user that needs to occasionally receive a fax and doesn't want the hassle of owning a fax machine or paying for a fax line month after month do so in a quick and convenient fashion.
For users that want a permanent fax number for business reasons, we offer a one year receive fax option. When renewed, the fax number does not change.
The app let's you receive a fax anywhere you are rather than be tied to receiving a fax at a fixed location. It provides a secure method of receiving faxes - there is no chance your fax is read while sitting on some unguarded fax machine.
When you are ready to receive your sender's faxed document, FaxReceive lends you a temporary fax number for a period of time. You receive the use of an in-bound number based in the US for a period of time after which the number is no long valid. You provide the fax number to your sender and they fax the document during the time window you've purchased.
Fax transmission is secure so you (and the sender) don't have worry about being unwilling or unable to send to your actual location or the physical security at your fax.
If you need to occasionally received signed legal documents, hand written, hand notated documents or simple send a scan of something then this is the solution.
Temporary fax numbers are all in the US.
FaxReceive does not use your device, minutes or phone number to actually receive the in-bound fax. You must have an internet connection of some kind.
Your fax will be delivered directly to your Android device and will not pass through or be stored in your email account.
Faxes are provided in PDF format so you transfer them to a wide variety of applications. Direct Cloud Print support is provided so print your faxes where and when you want to.

Objectively, it worked well when I needed to receive a fax. Just paid for the hour, called the sender and it came through right away. It's pricey but when you need it, it works!

Only gave 2 stars because it didn't explain that $4.99 for an hour was clock hour not 60 minutes of fax time. Felt deceived, & rather high price for hour, otherwise it would be wonderful! I see other reviews felt the same, wish I had read them!

Complete rip off! You'd think $7 for 1 hour fax receive time means time actively receiving faxes not 1 hour from the second payment is received. No one knows when your going to receive faxes FRAUD FRAUD FRAUD got reply from developer it's not $7 my apologies it's au$6.99 smh and to not buy the hour until the sender is going to send, well hello how many businesses are going to call you and say "EXCUSE ME, WE'RE ABOUT TO SEND YOU A FAX" nearly zero is the answer. No complaints, well I wish it was less $$, I new exactly it meant one hour of clock time , it takes only minutes to receive a fax of several pages, anyone thinking your fax number was going to last days or weeks to use 60 minutes of receive time, did not understand or think this thru, I'm totally happy, I saw nothing deceiving

This app is a revenue-generating scam. You pay for faxed I'm by the hour and you would think that would mean if you buy an hour of time you get an actual hour no it's a clock hour meaning as soon as you pay for the time the clock starts counting down for an hour even if you're not using the app so if you pay for one hour of time and you receive one fax and then don't use it for an hour your time runs out and you have to start all over again at $7 an hour. Complete scam! Very deceitful in the way they advertise the pricing they make you think you're getting an actual hour of time too!

I'm needing some guidance in logging into the app on a new phone. I had this on my old phone with I believe credits still remaining. Is there a way I can log in to retrieve my credits? I will update rating accordingly :-)

Cost $4.99 for 1 hour of fax time, but saved me 2 hours of round-trip drive time if I would have gone to meet an Amish subcontractor (they don't have email) to get a materials list. Hourly rate of $45 = $90 saved by spending $4.99 for this service. Thanks!

After waiting on hold for an hour with the IRS for a time sensitive document, they told me they could only send it if I had access to my own fax number and was at a fax machine due to security issues. I downloaded this app, received a fax number, and received their fax just in time to send the document in before the deadline.

Worked Perfectly. Fast, simple, with multiple options of where to save faxes (including cloud storage). Would rate 5 stars, except the 10 pg / 10 fax per hour limit is pretty low in my opinion. Have used their outgoing fax app (Fax File) with great results as well.

Worked as advertised. I paid $4.99 for an hour, received a temporary fax number, then received a fax. I wasn't able to save to a file directly, but saving to Google Drive first worked.
