FaxFile - Send Fax from phone

I downloaded Fax File a couple of weeks ago when a company needed information from me faxed to them. I dont have a fax machine that is working so I went to Google Play and found the Fax File App and downloaded it. I didn't send the fax until today because I didnt think it would really work. Boy, was I wrong!! Fax File is an awesome app and you don't need to waste time and gas to go somewhere to fax it yourself. Fax File does it all for a very reasonable price and without any problems. Thanks Fax File!

So far so good. I just sent some faxes, hopefully all went well on the other side. The interface is very simple, which all apps should be. Anyone can figure it out really. If you are upset about the cost ; consider why you need this service. It's cheaper than buying a fax machine, and easier than going to staples depot, or a friends house in the winter, just to fax a page. Its just up to you what you would prefer. It may cost more than 2.99$ (the price of a few faxes) in gas, just to drive to find a place. Edit : the last few faxes did not go through, leading to a multitude of problems for myself.

Good app. I like that it auto retries failed faxes and allows you to attach multiple pages of documents. Would like to see a preview of the fax and possibly allow editing of image prior to sending. Some other fax apps offer this already. Also it's a bit more expensive but so long as the app functions properly and faxes reach on time I'm happy to pay more. Keep up the good work. 5 stars when preview mode is added.

I like that I can buy only a small amount of credits and they don't expire. I don't send a lot of faxes but when you need to you can send it easily and quickly. Most other services charge a monthly fee. I only send faxes a few times a year so a monthly fee would be a waste of money. Thanks for creating this cool app. :0).

Just wanted to say that I wasn't happy with this app at first because my faxes didn't appear to go through. I appreciated the quick response from the creators of this app assuring me that they did. To cut a long story short, I eventually did receive confirmation from the recipient of my fax. Sorry for jumping the gun.

Tired of apps implying they are free, going through the entire set up process, attaching the app, just about to hit send....and they demand money. Be upfront. Plenty of people who have cash to spare when there are free services out there. I'm just not one of them.

I faxed pdf file it tried sending and the end it said failed and also detected credits. So they didn't send my fax and charged me, they don't have support and no refunds.

Looked at a few apps, too many seemed to have lots of issues or payment issues. This one didn't seem to have that feedback, installed in seconds, created fax to send in a minute or less from pdf stored locally, then seeing it was my first use I needed to purchase credits. It used Google pay as an suggested option. Put in password and relied credits. It worked flawlessly. It's rare you see an app this functional and work

This is 1 of 2 fax apps I use. I like them both. The alternate fax app I use, Mobile Fax Free, is TOTALLY FREE but limited to 1 fax per day. This FaxFile app is really great to have. FAXFILE app is FREE and the credits per page necessary to send a fax are sold at a REASONABLE PRICE. It's so convenient and easy to use. I wouldn't be caught without either of these apps. I've used them both since 2013 and until I find fault with them, I DEFINITELY RECOMMEND FaxFile!

Every time I charge money to this app my credit card gets fraudulent charges within 4-5 days. Happened twice in a row. What is really going on here.

Give a phone number for easy correspondence . have a cancel button and explain why I was billed for more credits when I still had over 200 credits in my file.

This app is NOT free that's false advertising. Clear case of Bandwagoning. They bait perspective customers with a bogus free offer. And switch to requesting payment before transmitting a fax.

I need to fax something once a decade. I don't want to buy a subscription or anything like that. I just want to pay someone a few bucks to fax some crap from my phone, and that's exactly what I got here. Quick, painless, and easy-to-use.

I faxed 15 pages two weeks ago to a government agency in canada. Today they called me saying they did not receive it although the app showed they have been sent and charged me about 12 dollar.

Fraud! It's paid app. I pay for fax in India. No fax diliverd but my credit consumed. I have to purchase another credit and it didn't diliverd the fax and credit purchase second time is unutilised. Repay my money. Google should remove such fraudulent app.

I have used this app for a bit over a year. It had only failed me once - probably a connection problem, no biggie. But I remember back then it only costed 10 cents to send a page, now it would cost 60 cents (that's if you don't want 2000 credits for $60 CAD, but even then it still comes to 30 cents a page, which in my opinion isn't exactly cheap). So I definitely won't be using it as often any more...

Absolutely love it. Easy to use and saves money. I made 2 trips into town to fax 1 sheet. Neither trip could they get it to fax. Wasted money and my time. Downloaded Fax File and sent it myself within couple minutes. Lesson learned.

This app didn't do a good job of delivering fax. It took about 10 minutes on reoccurring retries until I finally gave up. Apparently, I was still charged for the fax, even on failed delivery. I was refused a refund for 50 credits. Their explanation is that I cancelled the fax while it was trying to send. Well.... I do not know of any other way one would cancel failed attempts for sending fax other than when it's trying to send. Poor app, poor experience, poor support.

The price is not transparent and quite high for what it's worth. Also you can see your fax prior to sending

This app is a life safer! I had to send a fax to my Doctors office, and this app saved me from having to find a fax machine. Innovation at it's finest! Thank you for creating such a useful app! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you! At first I was skeptical, but it worked! The fax went through! So thank you!

I needed to send a fax desperately, the starting price is 2.49 for 50 credits and a page is 10 credits if I'm not mistaken. I sent it and took a picture of the proof that it went through, if it didn't go through I will revise my review but as of right now I'm ecstatic.

I really wanted to put ZERO STARS not an option. Waste of money didn't work charges 50 cents per page even if you cancel. STAY AWAY

I found the pricing is very confusing. It is quoted in points rather than money and the initial reading definitely gives the impression that 50 points would allow you to send at least one page. This was for £1.99. However, after purchasing the 50 points, I found that sending a fax to Egypt is 65 points!!. It was not clear at all to me at the beginning. I couldn't send the fax and wasted the money which is non-refundable. I am going to uninstall the app. Also the price of £2.60 is way more expensive than sending a fax from high street shop.

I tried sending a fax to Australian bank and the fax failed using this app. I called up the fax number and I can hear the usual modem tones - so the no. Is correct. Credit debited, fax not sent. Company should justify why the fax was not sent? Else should refund.

So easy! I needed to fax something to the doctor's office who insisted on a faxed document. I'm not at all tech savvy but my husband suggested I look for an app. It took less than 5 minutes to install, buy credits, and send the document.

Having tried 3 or 4 other faxing apps this is the only one that actually does what it says on the box- lets you send a fax for a small fee with no trouble or fuss. Only thing I'd ask for is some sort of downloadable PDF confirmation page.

Faxes are so antiquated, and going someplace to send a fax makes no sense. This app solves my work issues.

Ripoff! Doesn't send fax. Paid for 50 credits after learning one fax is 10 credits. None of the faxes were delivered. No idea where my faxes went. Cant even contact support without paying first. Should never have got this

Irs needed me to correct my 1095 form and 8962 form.. they only take faxes.. so far says it went through.. very excited to have this as an option versus signing up for a monthly Service

Terrible customer service. I bought 50 credits, thinking I will need 30, but I ended up needing 70. I asked if they can refund so that I can buy 100 credits. We ended up exchanging 10 emails, where they had some clear lies, and rebuffed in the end with things like "...which is why we have that minimum message."

It cancelled a fax, but still took my money. There's no option to contact support about this so I'm out $5 with no recourse and no way to send a time sensitive fax unless I give them even more money.

First time I use but failed right away. It charge me for the unsend fax. Recipient number confirm to be a fax number. Im very disappointed!

I took pictures of my documents they were easy to find from the app I got everything sent successfully. Now I pray that's true if it is this is the best thing ever!

What a waste of money, sure the first time was the wrong number, the second time I canceled it, the the last two times it failed. So far I paid  $15 for what should've cost $9 and now don't have enough "cresits" to try again, and my faxes still haven't sent. I want a refund for my wasted time and for the fact that I'll have to find an actuall fax machine and pay to use that. Not very happy and if I don't get a refund I will write a negative review and contact Google until something gets resolved.

It's working but cost is more than expectation. Must be low. So that user can use.

When you're ON-THE-GO and in need of a fax machine and don't have access, Faxfile is a godsend! Thanks to my friend who recommended it to me!!

Sucks! Looks like it should be good, but my faxes never send. "Auto-Retrying" "Fax Failed" To multiple numbers. But of course, they charge anyway.

Don't waste your money, you pre-pay for a fax, then BOOM, it can't be delivered. £1.99 wasted

The price seems okay for non-frequent users. With $2.99 you are able to fax about 5 pages. I suggest a preview of the file to be faxed and also a better option for cover page.

Sent in documents to the government to have things changed. They got them. This does work!
