Meet Mobile: Swim

Meet mobile is great in concept, but is becoming increasingly irrelevant as event organizers have no motivation to upload event data in a timely manner. Unless something changes dont bother.

Love it. Results available almost Real Time. Can analyse splits. Check out seeding and points earned. Very happy with the annual subscription fee given the value of this app for parents and swimmers alike.

I really want this app to be 5 stars, but it's full of bugs and often the results are old by the time they show up. Basically, save your money.

Meet mobile is just mediocre. After paying for it there are still ads and you have to be careful not to get stuck in a subscription...

Might be useful, but it won't let you subscribe. Tried for over an hour. Also most of this is user-provided info, so it's up to meet organizers to know about app, have equipment and wifi and volunteers, so you can't rely on it.

As usual it switches accounts and while it allowed me to subscribe on one account it now is looking at another and wants me to subscribe again even though I'm already paying. Makes you disable an account to make it switch back. Awful experience, this bug had been there for atleast two years. Way to suck!

For as long as I can remember with this garbage app,. If you go and favorite a team and try and scroll through the athletes on the team is a lag fest and probably a complete freeze up of the app. And this on stock Nexus firmware too. Pure freaking garbage

It's great when it works. Most of the time, however, I need to close it out and reopen every time I try to update.

It took me a bit to navigate at first, but love the app! So helpful in keeping track of my swimmer's time and events and all! I'd love to see a state time cut somewhere in the app for reference.

In the swimming world, this app is a must. But with soo many flaws, I wish I didn't have to pay for it.

Even though i have the all subscription it keeps asking me to purchase the heat sheet option. This was never the case in the past unsure why it happens now causing me a hugh irritation

Just not working all the time. Subscription valid for a few more months, but keeps telling me to buy a subscription. . Please fix that bug and I can give 5 stars.

I like this app very much. Just don't understand why it never recognizes the meets near me.

I loved it.....but last 12 months it never works! Waste of time trying to find results that I have paid for !!

Doesn't update nearly as fast on Android as it does on my wife's iPhone. Says I have no internet connection when I'm at home with full Wi-Fi bars. Too bad this is the only option we have.

...because they never have to improve without a competitor. Tolerable at best but it does the job.

Watch out for their hidden autorenewal. Hit me with their annual $10 fee that I was lucky to see on my credit card. Canceled service a few weeks after seeing charge and Google won't refund. In process of trying to get a credit.

When contacted, the company would not issue a full refund. When I placed my order on this app, I was not aware it would auto renew. Beware, it is auto renew! They will only refund latest charge. That being said, I'll never order from them again, they already have payment. Work no service in return.

Our team wants to go paperless and this is the way! Could there be an easier way to find the purchase heat sheets button? I'm explaining to parents multiple times a meet. For everyone complaining about times not updating, its your meet managers not the app. They have to push results to the app.

The app works ok, but you have to watch this publisher. They do not notify you that your subscription will renew so you don't know to cancel your subscription until after they have collected your money. Then they will not honor the Google Play Store two hour refund policy after you get billed.

Need exact wording and spelling of meet to find "meets near me" and when it's been uploaded incorrectly its impossible to find, too reliant on meet organiser to upload info. Can't get heat/finals sheets unless you pay extra. Auto renewal has lag time, so no info appears at all for almost a day, which is very frustrating when my subscription renews in the middle of our championships. Don't get me started on refunds!! Other than that the app works ok!

This app is not as useful as it could be. You cannot follow a school or club. You have to follow an individual. It is not very timely. It lags behind the actual meet by several hours. For a paid app you would expect a lot better product!

So suddenly I can't see any results at all which makes me think that my subscription has ended. But when I go to Manage Subscription it takes me to Play store instead. So the only thing I can do is give a bad rating...

It's way too hard to find the meets, even in advanced search mode. Also, it inevitably freezes or stops working halfway through a meet. It's great when it works. I just wish that was more often.

I have been a customer for a long time since it was free. Then I became pa paid customer and I enjoyed the convenience of following my kids when I was not with them at the meets. Now just don't know how to get this app work on my Samsung. No place to buy the app. After downloading it just shows a blank screen. So frustrated!

Not easy to find meets. You wiuld think with key wirds is the name of the meet you could locate it, but you cant. Sometimes the year is brfote the meet name, sometimes you need tge date. When I search by date the current date isnt accurate. Good concept, not easy to search. My subscription renewed automatically in july. First meet of 3017 and I can't get results

This app freezes up ALL the time. I report it. ... nothing changes. I liked the old version better. This app is so hard to find meets.... the older version was better for this too. Now, it doesn't update me when starred favorite swimmers swim. Waste of money. Get the results faster waiting for times to post on USA Swimming

It is a nice app when it works. The "Meets Near Me" feature doesn't work even though my location service is on. If you do a search based on State, it still returns meets in other states. Not remotely worth the subscription price.

Great functionality, aweful interface. Should be designed around a data view of my kids.....showing what they swam and what they have upcomming. With my 3 kids...it is cumbersome to navigate. Also I should have a data view of all swims in all meets with clarity around the state cuts with their progress towards them.

Junk. Ties a credit card to maintain the subscription even though it is an annual payment. This means that anyone including our kids can make purchases since the credit card is active and there is no way to restrict card access nor to remove the card without affecting the Meet Mobile app. To remove the credit card you must uninstall Meet Mobile. Total BS. Uninstalling it now.

Updated 2016: Fixed bugs. Platform stable. Essential for near instant meet results. Most problems result from meet host connectivity. From 2015: Don't waste your money. Meet Mobile is characterized by poor connectivity and incomplete results. It might be better mid-2015. Save yourself the headache.

Totally frustrated... Spent over an hour trying to figure out how to purchase subscription for android. Unfortunately there is no explanation on company's website.

I only had the free version. An iPhone using friend showed me my daughter's times on her phone. When I looked for the paid version (like she has on her iPhone), there isn't one for Google it seems. That would explain why the app has been completely useless to me.

Impossible to find some events because of capitalization nor how to renew subscription. Clicking manage subscription brings user back to the install page. Go to app simply returns to the app. Uninstall and reinstall doesn't fix this as well.

I am a meet organizer, and know from the other end that there is by no means an automatic information sync with this app. That is why it strikes people as unreliable. Not all meet organizer bother to turn on the Meet Mobile features, and many do not use Hytek software. From my end it is annoying that we cannot take down a meet announcement for a bad meet file. I agree with reviews that say this program is a good idea in principle, but the execution falls short. The fees are also very high given the unreliability of meets using the software.

I wasn't able to go to my kids meet today and thought this would be great... So dissapointed, this app is slow to report times and ridiculous to navigate. I have free apps that make this one look pathetic. I normally wouldn't complain but when you have an app that costs 5 bucks it better perform at least as good as the 1000's of free ones, this doesn't.

Finding meets is near impossible given the search capability in the app is totally inadequate. A very subpar app. Could be so much better. Not up to the standard of a paid app.

Active have a habit of squeezing all for money including automatic non-refundable auto renew of subscription. Beware. Difficult to search and find meets

At the beginning it was very helpful but then, after a few meets it is a completely disaster. No information available. I will not pay for it again!

I used to use this a lot but have just downloaded onto new Samsung and there's not even a section to log in there is just no info, tried sending message to customer care and rejects my email address I won't renew subscription which is another story
