Who has not wished to know the distance traveled by the golf ball?
CarryGolf is an application that will allow you to easily calculate this distance using GPS positioning.
Its use is very intuitive
1. Presses the button "Start",and wait for receiving a GPS signal.
2. Set up and play your ball
3. Go to your ball and press the button "Distance"
After receipt of your position, the distance will be displayed in meter or yard.
Then you can either re-action bearing in mind the positioning of origin or redo a previous action from this new point.
And do not forget to turn on the GPS of your phone ...
and always without advertisements or eccentrics authorizations

I found this app to be very good for measuring shots in golf. It's very simple and with no advertisements, it's a welcome utility! I use it with another golf app (whose measuring system doesn't seem very good) so I can enter my drive distances. I have noticed a very minor issue with the app, where the distance measurement is reset if my phone (Samsung Galaxy S2) rotates the screen. Two work arounds - lock the phone after you start the measurement and only unlock when you are at your ball or turn off the auto rotate on the phone. Ideally, it would be great if this tiny issue was fixed, but I've still given it 5 stars for its simplicity and ease of use.
