ACT Fibernet for Android
Very bad experience. I wanted to disconnect the service at the start of the month and asked customer care to do the needed. They promised the same. It's been 2 weeks into June still no word from them and they're asking me to pay this month's rent also And Mr. Venkat, never picked up phone after the connection was set up. Very bad experience in short. No neg rels for the app though.
Does anybody know how to lodge a connection cancel request?? Awful customer service. No internet for days and raised complaints through multiple channels.(app/SMS). Nobody will attend if you try to call the customer service number. Same with the nodal officer phone number given in the website. Stay away if you don't want to get cheated.
Not an Useful App. ACT fibernet will promote to use their APP for Bill payments, support and complaint registration. If you pay Bill with the option available in App, we will not be knowing whether payment credited to our customer account or not. Then we have to make call to customer care on which nobody will respond, Or we have to raise a complaint request for which nobody from ACT will give you call back or some resolution. It happened to me twice. Very Bad experience with this APP. Not useful at all. At least we can not downloaded a bill payment statement from this App. For statement again you should login to the web portal. I feel better not to use this App..!! Unnecessarily you have to loose some MB of memory space in mobile.
Since as a Act fiber net user I am saying don't choose act becasue I they will not give proper speed and customer service from last 3 days Internet not connecting. Whenever I made the call they will inform technician will come to home and fix the issue. Still no one came and now I already lose the hope and planning to disconnect the service.....
I have been trying to get a new connection for a week now. Signed up on the app and called the customer care about 4 times. Each of the time they tell me that I can expect a call within 2-3 days. I was even asked to share my location on whatsapp and then I'd receive a call in 2-4 hours and yet a week later I have no idea what is going on. Wonder if this is how they serve before you subscribe wonder what it would be like after. Had heard many good revinews about act, but clearly disappointed. Worst experience.
I have been using ACT since last more than 2 years and as a customer I am telling you guys please don't choose ACT Fibernet. ACT has become a shit now a days. They have started providing very poor quality service. No proper customer service, no proper technician. There is no internet at my home since last 10 days and dumb ACT can't even fix that last 10 days. Whenever we call, they are making fake promises and telling issues will be resolved the same day. I'm again repeating Don't go for ACT FIBERNET, customer service is very poor quality.
It's useless as useless can get. My Internet is down since 3 days. Neither do I get a response for the complaint raised in the app nor do the customer care reps ever answer my call. They are always busy. Looks like ACT doesn't really care much about its customers anymore. EDIT 20.5.2017 : I'm not ok with sharing my details with you on a public forum. You will be able to find me if you look me up in your database of Bangalore customers. I'm extremely disappointed that I had to post a review on a public platform to even get the attention of the company. You are definitely gonna lose a lot of customers, ACT. EDIT 21.5.2017: my ticket is closed without any prior notice, with the problem still persisting. No service personnel has even turned up.
Worst internet service ever. Please dont fall prey to their plans. Every week atleast for a day their links will stop working and will take atleast a day for fixing them. So in a week definitely u will have to spend a day without internet. They dont have a customer service FYI. I am from Bangalore please never ever think of Act. Have been struggling just to get a email invoice of the bill details from a week but couldnt get it. So u can imagine their customer service when network goes down. Please refrain from even thinking of switching to this provider.
Don't install.. it's waste of time.. you won't be able to raise service request. Customer executives will be always busy in call support. So it's clear once you ran into a problem you are going to get frustrated and you will be thinking why you chose this unstable internet. App is total waste. To get more downloads of this app they are gonna discontinue your first call and you will get msg about this app to raise SR. Until you call again to the customer care number..
The app supports only available options for trouble shooting apart from Bill payments. There is no other option for other support. The response time and progress is pathetic. They will close the case without customer intimation and can never be escalated. The customer care ivrs is not reachable 24/7. I have struggled for shifting of my connection and now don't even know how to terminate. Only use would be bill payment
It's really hard to believe that ACT provides such a great quality of internet service but this app really really bad! It keeps on crashing whenever I want to make payments. That 2 stars is only for UI and Internet Quality
Worst app. .it's shocking that act is good in providing internet service but it's own app is not worth then a individual one app. Last two times I am facing payment issue through app. Better can make payment through any other service. Everytime I used to contact customer care regarding this afterwards they ll confirm the payment.
App is way better in customer service than the call center, easy to register complaints and track usage. User experience can be further improved. Gave 4 stars earlier, changing to 1 as i m not able to login, everytime i m getting unable to generate otp while logging in. Even asked customer care to help a week ago but nothing yet
Edit: I have updated your app to the latest version. Still the same. Deducts money from my card and the app never gives a confirmation on the app. That's a very good "ethical" business practice you got right there! Why do you want me to post my contact publicy here? How hard is it to contact me via mail? Deducted money,no confirmation. Made a payment via app using a debit card. Got a message from bank. On the app. No confirmation, just a blank screen.
Service is horrible, no follow up over complaints have no network for almost a week now. Most important give connection only for android & ios users only. Dont expect or keep teling a windows phone user to complaint through your app. Thats heights of irrtation. Whatever it is payment they take it in advance only.
Downgraded my rating. ACT is extremely slow to respond and sometimes does not even respond to service requests, requests for help with change of contact details, etc. The app hangs up just at the point of submitting a complaint/service request. What's the point of advertising your app so much if it doesn't meet the basic requirements of the customer and doesn't perform as expected ? Your customer service hotline is forever busy, I have not received a reply to my email regarding changing my account contact details sent more than 2 days ago.
Look and feel easiness to access options is okay, but payments are not working at all. I tried payment with debit card, it endlessly waiting for payment gateway,. Then I tried with me thanking, payment was made at bank but confirmation on Act app is not shown, which puts customer in worry and confusion about the success of payment. But luckily I have got an SMS from ACT after a while .
Allowed data limit is over. Customer care guy told me I can opt for FUP reset to get the data at pro-rata basis ( I am not willing to get FlexBytes as I need to keep checking when it is getting over). But it can be done only if I am at home & thr' the portal! This is bad. As I am away from home and won't reach for a week, my net which supports my CCTV cameras etc will be non-functional. ACT should allow FUP reset through its website as we log in with our credentials. Is ACT listening?
Worst internet service provider in the city. Had to request no of times for the my internet issue. In last 25 days I hardly could use the internet. I called them, visited btm brunch but seeming like they are less interested once the payment has been done.
When paying the bill through app, it does not show any update after entering the OTP, whether the payment is successfully processed or not. I got message on my registered mobile saying thank you for paying the subscription amount. I have experienced this issue twice with the app. Please make the required changes. Thanks.
The only ISP in this world whose maintenance activity actually brings Down the entire network. Tech guys work on lines without even a complaint and screw up connectivity. Great effort in retaining customers. It's only matter kg time before you get you house in order or end into oblivion.
World of incredible !!!!!! Act fibrenet world of non connectivity !!!! Bangalore number 1 in horrible customer care. Terrible service provided !!! Despite repeated calls to customer care /registering complaints on the app / no response ! Best part they close ur complaint without talking to you or ensuring internet is working !!!! Who gave them bangalore number one internet provider label ??!!! Take this internet and the only thing u will be doing is calling customer care ....being put on hold !!!! Wasting ur money and time and life calling them and registering complaints !!!becoz they will not address the issue at all !!!!worthless !complete waste of time and money ! And don't bother sending any feedback becoz that too u will recieve an automated mail with standard reply !!! Biggest mistake to have gone with ACT I INTERNET! !!! They just don't care about customer after they get their money !!!! U will be harassed to no end !!!!....no one will bother to follow up on the complaints you make for days together !!!!! Its evident Here .... Look at the number of people who have rated it one star ....so obviously their priority is to get new connections and after the customer has paid the money in full ....the customer can go to hell as far as they are concerned !!!!
Not working to resolve the issue, I have raised a complaint few days back til it's not resolved. Reply to your comment: I don't want to share my contact on the public. Since I am one our your customer, you should have all that information right. Please revert back on that. I am from Bangalore.
ACT is the best broadband service provider I know. Airtel is the next.. I use both of them speed wise ACT is good service wise Airtel is superior but ACT is not far behind. ACT is trying to please their customers in so many ways which I know but people has to execute it properly. I would strongly recommend ACT for more DATA savvy customers.
1. It would be better if you could improve payment process methods., I have been using act app for more than 6 months never seen a invoice generating through app.. Had to wait for a Sms and wil close the app 2. Location update is annoying. Not sure why it is asking everytime when ever we login into app
Waste app worst customer support .not user friendly. If internet not working no detailed options are available. Problems not attending. Still 5days over problem not solved . Customer support call always engage. No one is bothered to solve either mails reply. Money should be payed with 15th every month without fail .
Worst service, ACT people act very well. I paid last Sunday , till date nobody turned up for installation. Since 4 days I am contacting customer care but no use. Not recommended at all. Choose another service not ACT.
The app is typical living up with Jonses. Speed claimed in the ads does not reflect in response to service requests and requires repeated reminders. An app can only earn good rating if it meets subsricber needs. Hope you guys will not become another big insensitive group.
Worst service provider I have encountered. From connection to bill payment, everything is poor. The app doesn't work at all. Try registering a ticket as below Customer Support >> Billing & Payment >> Bill & Payment Receipt Request >> Payment Receipt >> Continue It gives an alert that invoice will be mailed to your registered id instead of payment receipt. Btw either of receipts won't be triggered. If u go and check for registered complaint, nothing will be there as well. I wish I could give it ZERO. They write Hippocratic replies like they will contact and all but they never do. Worst thing about this app is if you requesting for receipt and it gives u invoice. Shameful response.
I have been paying regularly and suddenly my speed dropped to 512 kbps; installed this app to register my complaint. This app never allows me to sign in saying that i have issues with my network. I don't this i would be able to post this comment if my network was not fine; planning on disconnection.
A bogus app I have ever deal with. I paid through the app, amount got dedicated from my account but app still shows as processing and processing. Ultimately I didn't got any confirmation from ACT for receiving my payment. Customer care is as usual busy always. I don't know what to do now.
Very bad customer service.. Since 2 days m trying to reach customer care no. no response.. N registered d complaint thru app as wel still not rectified d problem.. N dis is not d first time every weekend ul face internet problem.. I suggest u people please don go ACT connection waste of money n time..
This app doesn't give home button option after payment. Which compels us to take up the way which says cancel the process. By this every time I get a message on screen saying the process has been cancelled due to error in connectivity. Where as amount has already been charged on my card
Internet is not working from last 2 days. I raised a ticket through this app, no one bothers to check that. No reply from any one. Only for name sake they added. Interesting point if u try continuously for one hour also customercare number is busy..soon i will get rid of this.
The App shows a notification about ACT Resolver tool to resolve all internet connectivity related issues. Yet, nither does the notification provide for any click-able link nor is there any such additional app in Playstore.. and rewards on guessing why I am desperately searching for this tool.. time and again..
When you pay bill via app, it does not give any confirmation that payment was successful or bill payed. U have to go back and refresh the page to check the due amount. When you do that, it asks "cancel current transaction?" Which is very disconcerting since you are not sure if the payment has actually gone through
Edit: No internet connection from past TWO days, they're saying some physical connection issue, act ID 11019697.... Took six months plan to get the installation fee waived off but now they have charged 500 for shifting. I do not know what they shifted or did anything additional. Pathetic customer support, put me on hold for more than 15 minutes..
They've removed my internet connection saying that my connection' power supplying socket is no more available. Is that my mistake? Then what will happen to my bill already paid? Funny thing is that they've sent me next month bill due though they are not giving internet connection. LOL.
Again yesterday ACt did the same...there is no internet ..Three to four time in a month same issue....pathetic...service...It's the worst internet connection in India at least....By heart I want to suggest the one who even thinking to go for ACT...Please one some other internet. .. it's speed and date is fine , but their service is worst... I am calling them frequently for one reason to get one issue fixed . Every time they give me wrong info. Every alternate day I am calling them for same issue...And after few day same issue occurs. What kind of service they provide and what kind of employee they have..Is a mystery...Please don't get ACT INTERNET, these words coming from my heart....Don't even deserve one star...Three times a week I need to call to get the issue fixed.. Mostly slow speed, and all their employees tell lie...When I called them...Worst connection ever..

Very bad experience..customer support is very bad. Everytime call keeps on waiting even complaint raised through app is not useful. Without resolving the query they closed my ticket number. Everytime bill is deducted twice. Totally waste. I wouldn't like Act anymore. Also after raising complain and providing my details for solution,no steps have been taken yet. Seriously its waste of time. They dont listen to you
