ACS Church Life for Android
Same large image fuzziness as many others have reported, as of v2016.25 (running on Google Nexus 7-2013 w/Android v6.01 using a 1920x1200 hi-res 7" display). On iPhone/iPad (app v2017.02.0), the same query of the same data results in a razor sharp enlarged image. The problem isn't Android hardware, nor is it user error uploading low-res images to AccessACS. We use ACS OnDemand online which auto-transfers our data to AccessACS). v2016.25 is only enlarging the thumbnail, and isn't retrieving the hi-res version of the image that iPhone/iPad are finding just fine. Problem has been going on at least six months, and the app rating is down to 3.6, with 30 "1" recent ratings out of 145 overall.
Enlarged pictures are unrecognizable in this latest update (2016.25). I have an up-to-date Android HTC M7. This is not a phone problem. It is a problem with the latest Church Life Android version. Please fix !
Enlarged pictures used to be clear but are now blurry. Reinstalled app but had same results. Phone is a Samsung S7. Could have been Verzion software update not sure. Five stars if fixed.
One of the benefits of the app is to help you get to know members and after the last update the enlarged picture is now fuzzy. I have a Motorola Droid.
You can no longer enlarge pictures with the new update customer support says you can't go back to the old update
Can't get into the app, even though my church office reset my email and password.
Was challenging to get into the site.
Church Life has been great until the last few months. Pictures, when enlarged, are now fuzzy. When I put a request in, they said it was because we uploaded pics too large. Not a good answer since they were the same pics all along. We didn't change anything. The app did.
Latest version of app yields blurred photos. Tiny pictures are fine, large ones are barely recognizable. Office help suggested this is a problem with my phone. However, multiple comments on this problem suggest otherwise.
Worked good until last update. Now when I click on pics to enlarge, which are tiny, I just get a big blurry pic. PLEASE FIX!
We have enjoyed having our church family "at our finger tips". However, tonight's update appears to produce a larger pic but now they are severely skewed, unrecognizable
Is there anyway you can make the picture quality better when you click on the pic. It is not viewable when it's expanded.
It is so nice to have all of my church family at my fingertips. Its so convenient I am able to press 1 button and my church family is added to my address book. I love loved loved loved this app
All it gives me is a login in page and won't ask me if I'm new to the site. If you know what I'm doing wrong pls text me @ 651-9816
I would love for someone to tell me how I can watch services ty
All I get is a email,password,site#,username and password....can't do nothing...Help

I love this app. We are a denominational head office and it keeps our leadership in touch with the members that they are responsible for. The only thing that it needs is to be able to group people. It would be great if our regional leaders had a way to just see the people in their region and not everyone in the country, unless they wanted to see everyone in the country.
Really needs ability to see my groups. That way I can look up, call and message those in my small groups. Otherwise I have to remember and look up by names.
I've used this app for a very long time. Some of the things people complain about are not legit. The app is intended only for churches who use Access ACS for their membership database and who have it set up correctly for use by members who have set up their Access ACS user names and passwords.
This app is FAR behind in styling and performance. It needs to be rewritten to Material Design spec, and probably needs an overhaul of the backend as well. It's 2016. There's plenty of efficient libraries to reference information.
Love it. I don't have to write a check ever again!!!!! Okay...that was a little dramatic but you get my point. Download it today. What are you waiting for???
Extremely helpful to our staff in contacting and ministering to our people and those who visit. The map feature gives us an instantaneous way to connect with them while out in the car around town that has changed the game for us as to outreach and ministry. I wish we had a feature to add more to their bio on the app. Appreciate Churchlife
The app is unimpressive, not very user-friendly. The support staff is very rude (if you can get in contact with a person). Overall, just very frustrated.
Won't load anything... Useless!

I'm not a fan. As a leader, I need to use this app, but it won't load my "People". It always says it timed out. I have uninstalled and reinstalled the app and I've tried it on and off WiFi. It's no good.
This app is fantastic. It actually makes me better at my job.
I NEED to use this to access members info for a committee I chair. Have had my password reset by out admin, but still unable to open the app. Claims invalid username or password.

Can't get past the login. No link to start a new account.
PLEASE FIX THIS. calendar locks up every time. Comments section locks up every time. I have to continually restart the app just to make it work. The benefit of having acs info on my phone is greatly overshadowed by the frustration of the app locking up. Once again, another great idea from ACS that has EXTREMELY poor execution. I know app is free with acs access but it works so poorly that I think someone should pay us to download it.
You can install it, but it won't take the password
Worked on ssg3, now on HTC610 nope e/w multi-reinstalls.
Calendar link freezes phone up, crashing. Only way to get around it is to uninstall / reinstall. Please fix ASAP.
This is a simple, but very useful app I woiuld recommend to any ACS ministry staffer. I look forward to more in upcoming releases.
Excellent tool for building community in your church.
Very useful app.
So nice to have this info at my fingertips.

New version 2017.10 still has fuzzy pictures. Being able to see photos clearly was one of the advantages of the mobile app. iOS has no problem with this. I hope you'll soon find a fix for Android.
