About Jenolan Caves
Set in Blue Mountains World Heritage wilderness, Jenolan Caves are a national treasure, of awe-inspiring beauty and scale. Open every day, Jenolan Caves are the largest, most spectacular and most famous caves in Australia.
This app has several self-guided trails for you to choose from. There is an adult’s and children’s tour which takes you from the historic Jenolan Village, through the iconic Grand Arch and Devil’s Coach House, and into the Nettle Cave. A local Aboriginal tour which follows the same path. And three longer walking trails which take you on journeys above ground - exploring the rock formations, valleys and river systems.
The tours explores the geology and geomorphology of the Jenolan area, the cultural heritage and history, as well as the Dream Time creation stories of the local Aboriginal people. There are additional layers of information available, for those who want to gain a richer understanding of Jenolan’s fascinating history and science.

Nice app but desperately needs a map. Unfortunately at the caves there is almost no signage that corresponds with the titles in this app. The times when we were able to use the app we found the audio interesting and added a nice dimension especially for our kids. Unfortunately however our overall experience was one of frustration.
