Seems like the only thing that is being updated is the obituaries. The local (Ellis County, Waxahachie) news has not been updated in a long time. It has been alot of other news about other towns that aren't even around here, for instance Alice.

I noticed this morning that the app is no longer giving you free news. When you open an article it only gives you the headline and the first few lines. They did the same thing with their website a few years ago. I guess when you can't sell enough advertising you start looking to readers to pay the bills. Good luck with that WDL. Update: 12/26/15. The app is back to its original format. I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 3. There are still many problems with this publication.

They're now truncating all articles (even obits) guess they're not selling enough ads that we have to look at. I was okay with looking at old news but what's there now is useless. Going to uninstall.

Bullshit I don't care about news in Alice ! Ellis county news wtf

Now only shows the first paragraph or so instead of the complete article. Google has the complete article. Uninstalling this app ..... it's worthless now.
