A Cloud Guru for Android
The app is still missing a lot of features. It's not possible to change the speed which I find highly annoying. I cannot look for courses on the app. The jump from one video to the next required me tell the app to go to the next video and then to start it. Those are just a few things after having watched 2 videos. I expect it will get better and so gonna keep it installed to be positively surprised soon, I hope.
App doesn't remember where you stopped (key feature while watching a series), and whenever you move from one video to the next one, progress bar on video timeline is just frozen at 0. Also, having to click "next" and "play" to transition to the next video is annoying: make auto-advance video as an optional feature on the app.
App just isn't connecting post authenication ... which is a shame as distance learning isn't just online learning. I would really like to see the app fulfil its potential.
I like the application. Only think I want is possibility to have Chromecast streaming to my TV for watching the courses on big screen.
We need full screen, Chromecast, playback speed. Then we can get the sweet, sweet, five stars. acloudguru rocks, for sure, but the app needs these crucial features.
Like the app but would love to have the ability to be able to listen to the audio while having screen turned off and also be able to play videos at faster speeds
Nothing loads. All I see is the spinning wheel. Was really looking forward to using this app.
Seems most bugs of the first version are fixed now.
After some time video are not downloading and not planning in app.
Buggy? Always hanging, spinning wheel, no video progress history.
Keeps looping back to login screen after login.
I've worked round the screen timeout issue with LLamalab's Automate but I don't remember having to do that for similar apps (eg O'Reilly Safari). Would be good to have choice of download location (built-in storage/sd card) but for the course I'm currently working through it all fits on phone's built-in storage.
It is not optimized to store media on external SD card. So teh first course I wanted to watch on my 6hr flight used all my free memory. simple feature but really needed. not even thinking about having 2-3 courses available for offline watching...
Useless app, can't watch the videos as screen keeps turning off whilst they're playing every 30s. Also no option to Chromecast. For an app for a premium service that's primary focus is playing back video lessons, very poor.
Unfortunately, I have to drop this down to 2 stars after seeing the Udemy app experience. The download function in this app barely works (video stutters or just stops), there are no quizzes available, and the app allows the phone to go to sleep. I will keep the app installed to see if the experience gets better, but will not be using it for now.
In addition to the other shortcomings already detailed in other reviews, I would like to remove a course with one click, not each individual lesson. More importantly, playback speed! Is it there and I'm just not seeing it?
Request you to please add a option to download videos to sd card instead of phone memory, ideally it should be configrable where we want to download videos. It is relavent to android users
The screen needs to not timeout and speed controls on the video need to be a thing that exist.
The full screen mode shuts off the phone after 30 seconds
The app says only members can download videos for offline use, but I was logged in, so am I not a member?
How fast did you try to put this app on the app stores? It shows.
Screen goes on to sleep mode as if the phone is standby
Screen timeout is active while watching videos. Need to touch screen to keep screen on.
Great for mobility
Not a great app. Can't chromecast, it forces orientation on landscape and doesn't include the whole course like in udemy app.
Disappointing; the app icon is missing and there are almost zero options in the app. No ability to store video to the SD card. Seems incomplete.
A very responsive, intuitive and visually great application, very impressive.
Good

I love acloud.guru courses, but this app is useless. Constantly freezes (video, progress bar, timer... You can still listen to voice though). To fix that you have to restart current video, which is annoying because app does not remember when you finished. Linuxacademy (competitor) has an app that I'd like to use for acloud.guru courses. Do something with that app, please.
