Meditation Timer: ZenTime Lite

This is simply the best timer for yoga and meditation I've come across. Brilliantly flexible, you can create countless "programs" with a nice variety of chimes to signify the start, wind down, and finished stages of a meditation or yoga practice, and can include a selected chime at a desired interval to keep you on task. Well done.

It is ad free and does what it says.. I wd've given it a higher score, if not for: 1) the screen goes to sleep after 2 minutes and doesn't light up at any pt till meditation ends. For some of my practice exercises, i need to track every few min.s. Could U make it an option so with every interval bell, the screen lights up for another minute or so? 2) the bell sound somehow doesn't sound the same as during 'test'. It sounds flat & mechanical unlike a real gong. Could U pls add some bell variety? Blessings

This timer's bell did not sound at the end of the meditation.

This app is great but sometimes I get phone calls during mediation sessions. When that happens, the timer resets. Also, the timer resets every time greenify closes some of my other active apps. Basically the timer resets every time the screen changes from the ZenTime app to other apps. I don't mind using airplane mode to avoid phonecalls, but it's more difficult to stop other apps like greenify. Fix this and and I will give 5 stars.

"Allows the app to determine the phone number and device IDs, whether a call is active, and the remote number connected by a call". Why on earth (or elsewhere) would this app need to access my phone numbers and device ids? Deleted after I realized it does this. No reason.

Just started meditating and this is a great app, lean and clean. Love it!

Missing upload custom sound option. Would be great to have a scroll option on the project screen ( smaller devices gets cut off and half of the content is invisible ). Also you should include an dynamic profile option - were the meditation total time gets increased every session by 10 seconds ( would be nice to have a flexible edit options such as daily / weekly increase. ) . Not sure if it me but the bell sound is getting cut off Overall very satisfied, keep up the great work! !!!

The bell sounds clip before fully attenuated. That's a real pity because the way it let's you set up timers is great.

Simple and beautiful, simple setting, presets. Engough and sweet bell sounds of various type. Using it since last 2.5. Tried other apps, but this one is best.

Just what I was looking for - a simple timer with a few configurable options, without packing it full of features that I don't need or want.. The only negative is that the brass bowl chime cuts out a bit too early when you set it to chime multiple times, but that's not a big deal.

My only complaint is that the Chinese bell sound cuts out to early, however that is only a very minor detail. Great work!

I just wanted something that would work as a timer and maybe signal time's-up with a chime. ZenTime Lite gave me that, plus options like including a warm-up time, a start chime, a "warning" chime, and lots of really nice-sounding chime tones. Delightful!
