This is a terrible toy of an app. Just visit Edinburgh to see what proper real-time bus app should be. This is an embarrassment. Having tried to use it in earnest, I can only assume the authors have no experience of either buses or user interface design

I don't often write reviews but felt necessary after downloading this pile of horse manure. Worst app I've ever downloaded and installed and the quickest to remove. Don't do it. There are better options than this rubbish. No buses on any route near me? Pointless waste of my time.

It stopped working yesterday evening and this morning but has started working again. Interface could be better thought out. Takes too many presses to get to favourite stop information.

Not bad, but timetables not 100% reliable. For instance, on May 1st it shows no buses in some stops when in fact there were Universal buses circulating.

Useless app that is not user friendly

Slightly clunky user interface, but once you figure out how to use it it does a fairly good job of showing you how far along each route each bus is. BUT, the system has one bug, which makes it completely useless for me: It can only register delays after the bus has started its route. So if the bus is delayed on its previous route and you're at a stop near the start of the route you just get "due" showing for 20 minutes with no indication of how long the bus will take. This is a problem with the LED displays at bus stops too, so it's obviously not the fault of the app, but it would be nice if the app could distinguish between "no data for this bus" and "bus will arrive momentarily". So I'm going to give up on busses and just walk. It takes longer on average, but it avoids frustration.

It would be much more useful if it included all the buses. For some reason it doesn't include the uni4.

A disgraceful waste of public money.Have been using Bus Scout and First Bus with no probs but I'm afraid this app is useless to me. Sort of got it working but ui is incomprehemsible. Will probably get rid of it. There are several much better free apps already available.

...it hammers the phone battery when not the active screen because it constantly seeks location info. The phone's location does *not* need updating while the app is inactive. Please fix, as there isn't even an Exit option and I can't risk flattening my battery while away from a charger.

1. It is very hard to tell which bus will come to the stop I'm at and where it will go next. 2. There doesn't seem to be any way to ask the app to make a route from point A to point B and tell you which buses to use and when they run. 3. On the live map view of bus positions, the dots that represent the buses disappear and reappear in jumps that makes it hard to follow an individual bus. 4. There's no information about how early or late or full or reliable a particular bus route is.

Doesn't actually track the bus live... Says the bus is on its way but it's lieing to you... Do not install and waist your time...

It used to work on my S5 but since getting an S7 when I look for buses in and around Cambridgeshire (mainly stavecoach) all it shows is the position of where the bus is meant to be, not where it actually is!!!!

Can I have the latest live timetable for my bus from Drummer Street? How is it done?

Crashes all the time, unable to find the right bus stop, limited connectivity. Its reliability is similar to the guided bus itself, which tells a lot. Don't install.

It would be much more useful if it included all the buses. For some reason it doesn't include the uni4.

Can't work out how to plan a journey or see a bus timetable (either by stop or by route). Without those, it's really not much use.

Works OK but I have to type in postcode all the time as it doesn't recognise location (even though this is switched on and all other apps web pages can!) Also can't seem to search by bus number. Only good if I need to find when the bus is due at my local stop

Contract numbers are needed for the bus companies, so you can find out where that bus is that should have been here ten minutes ago!

It was a very useful app until the new version came!! Disappointed!!

Appalling user interface. Search function simply does not work - it ALWAYS returns "no results found". Useless.

Not compatible with android lollipop on my HTC one m8. Constantly crashes.

Service search returns no results. iPhone app works fine. Please sort it out

missed the bus many times because of this app. displays wrong times and says buses are late when they're on time and vice versa. do not recommend.

Searches far too local to current location. Doesn't show X5 services. Useless.

"No geocoder available" error, even though GPS working fine. Very slow, not intuitive, and so far no use to me at all!

Cant rename entries in favourites. Two step process to viewing current schedule on favourites highly annoying. Map takes ages to load even on a good wifi. Installing new app rendered my old shortcut useless. Clearly, the aim of the UI should be to let people drag quickly to favourites & on one click see what time the bus is, I've almost always missed the bus before i get to displaying bus times.

The new interface is very monochromatic and not at all easy to use.

I used this app everyday until it was updated! Now it's just awful and will now be deleted! Bring the old one back!!

App seems faster and more user friendly since the last update. It isn't perfect by a long shot, but it's good enough that I've removed the other free bus checker app from my phone.

However, UI is appalling, and crashes frequently.

At least "Save to Favourites" works now. But still...

New interface is better.

E.g. I can't see the bus I am on. Pretty silly. Can leave you to believe there is bio bus to catch when there clearly is. Also the map button doesn't work intermittently.

Really useful on my iPhone, worked great. Now on my HTC M8 It crashes every time I refresh. Phantom busses that are due suddenly vanish. Since the latest Android update the app won't even start. Utterly useless.

Though many times the bus times have been inaccurate, this app has been a little bit useful in the past until recently that it takes ages to open some features. It is completely useless now. The app is as unreliable as the buses themselves. There is no point having a non functional app.
