Introducing The Accountz Mobile App expense tracker which works in conjuction with our desktop applications; Home Accountz V3 and Business Accountz V3.

Log all of your expenses before you have even left the shop allowing you to keep a tighter rein on your finances. We don’t try to cram your whole life into an app, we simply allow you to track your expenses on the go and then this will sync with our powerful desktop applications; Home Accountz V3 and Business Accountz V3.

It should be a full version of Home accountz V3 just like a desktop version with sync feature, uninstalled it.

The idea is good but doesn't go far enough. It allows you to add an expense but not any kind of income. If all you want to do is add an expense then this app does it simply and with it syncing into the PC version it can save a lot of time, but if you want it to do more then you'll be disappointed.

The features it does have I find useful enough but generally the App falls short and could do so so much better.

It instantly has the data in the desktop programme that has been entered in the mobile App. So I only have to enter the information once. The colours and layout are calming. The App is easy to understand. If you have not got a mobile or WiFi connection when entering data, the App stores the information until it finds a Connection.

A good start - but scrolling through hundreds of payees on every entry is unnecessary; please allow text filtering with a choice of match start and match any.

Needs text filtering for payee. Also, not sure why but since the last update it does not seem to respond to key presses first time round. Not just on this device either. Very annoying.

Version 2 UPDATE. Much improved with Payee and FX added. Stars rating increased from 1 to 4. Thanks. Original comment. Work well, but no payee or exchange rate can be entered at the moment. Roll on version.

I find the app very useful. The simple secure start is a positive. It just means that rather than saving up receipts whilst away from home I can pop the entries in as I go. Makes life simpler when I get home. True it could do more like show current account balances and allow foreign account expense entries. As a longstanding user of Accountz software I see it as a useful bonus and urge other users to be patient. Well done......Spoke too soon. Update includes the payée field and the option to change currency. Unfortunately the payee field will not fill and the currency exchange rate field opens the numerical keypad (even with the querty keyboard as the default) which does not have a decimal point. More work needed!

Too thin at the moment. Need e.g. to be able to enter sales as well as expenses. Am not using as yet, either for Home or Business.

Quite nice to keep track of expenses when away from home. Would be nice if you could also enter balance transfers given that I often do this away from home as well. It would also be good if we could put in payee details (especially if linked to the payee's in Home Accountz).

Numeric keypad missing the decimal point button so only whole pounds can be input (swap to text keyboard seems to solve). No payee details can be entered (only accounts from & to) so every entry has to be edited later on laptop prog. All in all a bit of a waste of time. My recommendation: wait for next update.
