About Altimeter Offline
This altimeter works offline –does not need Internet connectivity. It is a great altimeter to go hiking, trekking, cross-country skiing and climbing both mountains and peaks -where you might have problems to get network coverage. As soon as you log out you see the settings menu so that you can turn the GPS sensor off for you to save battery. For free!

این اپلیکیشن واقعا بی نظیره تو کالیبراسیون و نشون دادن دقیق ارتفاع.. و صد البته بزرگترین حسنی که داره بدون نیاز به اینترنت به راحتی هر جایی که هستی میتونی از ارتفاع باخبر بشی. من از بین این همه اپلیکیشن در مورد ارتفاع این بهترین دیدم با انحراف معیار خطای بسیار ناچیز نسبت به بقیه برنامه ها

I've been using this app for 2 years and I am always impressed how well it works. It is ashame that so many people rate this app low because they don't know how to use it or their phone is too cheap to be accurate.

I tested by going to the top of a hill that is approximately 60 feet high and then walked back down. Altitude did not change.

Love the premise. Not overly fond of accuracy. Turned it on while in a seated position at a known elevation for calibration. It measured a 7meter variation between being held at chest and waist heights. Plus the lowest elevation recorded it showed me to be almost 25m further above sea level than I was, which is significant when you are less than 30m above sea level to begin with, nearly a doubling of actual elevation.
