Acaia Coffee for Android
won't even connect to my lg g4
Good scale
To pick the start page (espresso for example) would be great.
Social features and search are terrible
It often takes a long time for my phone to connect to the scale. (Galaxy s7) this is far and away the biggest issue. Once you figure it out, the workflow for logging dosage and starting extraction is ok, but could really be better designed.
The scale never connects on the first attempt. I have to try several times before it actually connects. Blue tooth is always on. Scale is great but app needs work.
If I do a machine brew or espresso elsewhere and don't have the scale handy I'm unable to log my coffee. Should be able to put in brew wait manually or say N/A so one can still track
Its a good app but its very difficult to connect the scale to the apps, oftenly its failed.. so please...
Don't buy these scales if you want to use them with an Android phone, as it's completely useless four times out of five you will start a brew and the scale hasn't connected.
Unstable and unpolished, this app is a waste of battery. The scale itself is high quality, however.
App keeps restarting making it impossible to brew.
App keeps crashing after update
Difficult to use.
Scale is great, app is completely faulty has never been able to connect and I have reinstalled it twice
Needs refinement
Very buggy!
Zoom feature please
Great functionality
White on white? Just as bad as the white on white scale. How am I supposed to read anything?
Excellent app. There is a lot of potential in the social features. Some polish needed.
It's a good app, great product but I wish there was a little more for espresso users
Saving me a lot of time to calibrate coffee profile for clients and shop/demo machines experiment.
Had mine since they were released, gets used in the shop every day, no problems.
The acaia scale is just great, and the app makes it easier to be consistent, and to test different brewing
I've had great luck with the iOS app on my wife's phone but the Android app has been nothing but trouble. Really gotchu and constantly losing the connection to the scale. Every brew I do, it loses connection while waiting for bloom, rendering this feature useless.
Still has some bugs. Connecting issues. And needs free pour mode without having a recipe, just logging. And maybe smaller scale coz it doesnt fit my slayer!
Application has some crash issues. Also the photos store in the photo feed rather than under the app data which is annoying.
Love this scale and app, would like to see syphon brewing option and a memory function for your equipment eg the portafilter weights 381.2g, favourite cup (photo) 273.4g incase you forget to tare before brewing. Cheers
The scale looks nice and works as a scale, but the app is a little lacking at the moment. It seems to have trouble connecting via Bluetooth, which could honestly be an issue with cm11. The biggest issue I'm having is in setting the brew recipe. It's not the most intuitive.
Versions on iOS is better than Android. but I usually use Android.
I'm very enjoy Acaia scale and this intelligence app. It helps me control my brewing process and review profiles anytime.
Works as advertised, waiting for the new features that will mirror the iOS version currently.

On my HTC one m 7 the app crashes right after I log in via Facebook and can't be opened again without crashing unless I clear the app data. I also can't edit the pour over timers. For example I can add another timer an can rename it from pour 2 but can't change the time of it from the default 30 seconds.
