Cantonese Academy allows you to revise, test and learn Chinese Cantonese (廣東話 / 广东话) through its multiple choice, word search, sentences games and Cantonese dictionary.
The dictionary Currently contains more than 1000 words in Yale Romanization to help you learn pronunciation as well as traditional Chinese characters to improve reading and writing skills.
Cantonese Academy separates its Cantonese vocabulary into twelve relevant categories with sub categories making them easy to find and easy to learn.
Cantonese Academy now allows users to create their own lists by simply selecting 'add to list' on any word in the dictionary, letting you have up to twelve different lists stored at once so you can focus on what you want to learn.
It is also easy to keep track of your learning with the new statistics section, visualising your progress through graphs and statistics of your current and overall performance.

Once this app comes out with audio to fit the lessons and pronunciation, I would love to return with a higher rating. For now it's ineffective as a learning resource.

The lessons are quite limited in scope atm but they get the job done effectively with plenty of examples. The accents are hard to see though. Either a different font, background or tone notation would be much better. It'd also be nice to see hanji in the review games

So far the only worthwhile Cantonese dictionary on the market that I've found. Would rate higher for app 2 sd. 11mb is kinda large for my phone. Oh btw it says explicitly in the description that there's only one lesson, but more are on the way.
