Software Licensing:
This application only works with the AboutTime mobile time & attendance software. You will need to purchase a device license from About Time Technologies before you can use this application with your system.
The AboutTime field clock is part of the award winning mobile time & attendance solution that can remotely process IN/OUT time punches for 10 employees up to 1000's of employees in small to very large enterprise level organizations. It has many management and productivity tools built in that help bring accountability, security, and transparency to the remote work environment.
Core Timekeeping Features:
- Sync only field collected data back to the office; only update device with the latest company data from the main office; or sync both at the same time over the internet.
- Employees can authenticate with a 4 or 12 digit pin code.
- Very easy and simple user interface and navigation.
- Track 1000's of cost codes with powerful restriction capabilities in the back end software per job or per employee.
- Powerful time limiter and rounding capability per job or company/division.
- GPS coordinates collected on each IN/OUT punch.
- Employee feedback functionality in the field, sent to the office on sync.
- Enter production units on clock as you clock IN to another cost code, or out.
- Track what equipment you are working on.

Buggy program. Constantly wants to update and even opens itself in the middle of me using my phone interrupting what I'm doing. Also constantly insists that I turn tracking on even though there is no reason for it to need it.

Installed on a number of Galaxy s phones and the sync speed is fast. We use the app multiple times a day. This software updates went really well for us and even got a notification on screen which we like with this program.

Recent locations is finally gone. Thank you. This really helps when searching through the location list since the list wasn't updating based on geolocation. I hope you come up with a new feature like 'Nearby Locations'

This app is the only app I need for my time tracking. The folks at Abouttime are all really great, helpful people. I highly recommend this app over the others out there. Time Summit was a big waste of time and did not have as many features.

Prior to purchase: You will need to dedicate a person to QA/QC the app and Control Center and monitor their performance(AboutTime does not do this effectively in-house), as well as conduct training and re-training of your employees everytime an update comes out(AboutTime does not offer support for this). You will need to keep a backup system on deck at all times to avoid delays in payroll when bugs are found(AboutTime does not rush to fix issues as they arise, they prefer to correct in batches). You will find this is not cost effective unless you have <10 employees and the most basic of accounting systems(i.e, QuickBooks). If you have the audacity to ask for a refund prepare to be told you and your employees are the problem, not AboutTime's software. All you will need to do is give them more of your time to fix their software, and spend more of your money for training on their software. Buyer beware.

This app was working fine on my Samsung Galaxy S5 with 5.0, but came last update of the app and my galaxy to 5.1.1 and the app stopped working

The ui is very poorly designed. Have to constantly have phone in landscape, I've seen ui on iPhone which looks better, but for some reason they can't make it look good on Android. I can only come to the conclusion that they are lazy when it comes to Android development.
