Notifications Off [Root] for Android
It succesfully removed my annoying notification from unused sim slot. Great Job. Thumbs up for me. Anyway for all those who didn't know about root please search about it & read the description if you're not sure on what you're doing.
I am using this app for long time. Its a awesome app. Recently I am facing a problem with my oneplus 3t. Well the problem it, once I disabled notification of a app I could not enable it with this app anymore. I have to reset app preferences to re-enable it. OxygenOS 4.1.6 Android 7.1.1. hope you guys will fix it soon. I will update rating later. Thanks
Does exactly what it should. And if anyone is wondering it DOES NOT interfere with persistent notifications preventing proceses from being killed. The notification will disappear but the process still won't be killed.
New phone. Wtf is "doesnt work on not rooted devices" . at least explain. I use internet date to download this app and u dont even put in description that it needs to be a "rooted" device (whatever that is. U dont even explain either) and u add to the text "pls dont rate bad" ..well... U get what u deserve. The least u couldve done was add a warning before people use their internet data on this thing.
Great app that does exactly what I need for it to do but there are issues reverting back to Default. For example, I created a profile called "All" which was set to disable all notifications. When I click "Default" and save, the app shows that everything is reverted but no notifications. After two reboots, confirming root access grant and even uninstalling the app, I see that I had to go to Settings > Notifications and reset the preferences. The only problem with this is that doing this also resets the app defaults as well as app permissions. Dev has been notified and 5 stars will be given as soon as the issue is fixed. Current: Nexus 6 (7.1.1 'N_MR1')
Not working yu yureka 7.1.2 nougat, resurrection remix 5.8.3 july security patch rooted with magisk. I unselected the one notification that I had to get rid of and it doesn't work. Appreciate your work but thank you.
Thanks you so much for developping this app mate! Android FINALLY shut the hell up. Nice and quiet. Great job ;) And to all the retards (I mean it) who spend their time on a smartphone and don't even know what Rooting means : throw away your phone, buy a book, and learn to use something else you don't know anything about, it's called : a brain.
I cannot update the unimportant ota update and I needed to disable the update notification... Thanks guys... BTW: all you noobs that don't even know what rooting means don't even download this- much less leave a stupid review. Overall this app = 11/10
Thank you! That system update thing was a headache for quite some time. Good job!
I didn't expect it to work...But it did! I had to enable Root acces with Magisk Manager because the app didn't ask for it. Once I pressed save the notifications....Poof gone
It can block notifications, but can't unblock them for some reason. I'm guessing something changed in Android since the last update.
So I had begun to go through my list of programs, toggling their notification flags as I wanted. After several done I said to myself, "Self, surely there is a program available to make this easier and faster." Turns out there is, and it's the program you're looking at now! Fantastic, does exactly what it says on the tin. Allowed me to very quickly and easily toggle notifications for hundreds of programs, a task that otherwise likely would have taken hours toggling and confirming them individually. It does require root (administrative) access, if you don't know what root access means in regard to Linux or Android you should Google it so you don't look like an imbecile by leaving a review full of stupidity that shows you neither understand the concept nor could you figure out how to use Google. Not knowing how to use Google is kind of sad, my grandmother is like 90 and knows how to use Google to search for things she doesn't know.
Not working ou Nougat. Any chance of updating it? It's been more than 1 year since the last one.
First off, I can't believe all the one star reviews because people don't know what "root" means, or didn't know rooting was necessary. It's clearly stated in the description! And Google is your friend. Anyway, this app is a Godsend. The only problem I'm having is that some apps are able to get through after they're updated, and it doesn't show that notifications are disabled in the profile. They're not checked as such. Not a huge deal, I just have to go into this app and resave the profile, but I thought the development team would want to know. Other than that, it's great. Thank you!

Works great! A must if you want to show your screen to anyone, without them seeing the very personal messages that might come. The widget makes it very convenient to switch from a profile to another. Suggestion: A widget "Use this profile for N hours then revert" would be extremely useful.
This is certainly a welcome addition and does exactly what it says. But I'm left wanting an app like this that offers more control, like consolidate all apps under a parent icon based on a broad category, like system, communication, other events, etc. Apparently no app like this exists. Too bad.
Dont waste your time and money to download this app.. And mister developer just learn the programing first and then make the Apps don't earn unlawful money ... :-@
I have quite a few built-in apps on my meizu mx5, a China phone, which cannot be turned off without uninstalling them, which basically bricks the phone... So I have a lot of love for this app, saves me having to swipe away those same, pesky notifications! Only app that I've found that allows for me to turn off system ui notifications!
But did not say anything until I installed the pesky thing.. Thanks for wasting my time.. ,("please don't leave me a bad review") Well please be more open........
I am seeing issues in 7.0 now where this no longer works as it did in 6.0. I have Tasker profiles set up, and I'll even get a toast that profiles have been changed, but I see that the wrong notifications get muted in my system. Because I use this to control work vs. personal notifications while at the office, the app becomes useless to me now.
This is a terrific app that eliminates the tedious job of having to go into settings and turn off notifications for each app individually. Very easy to set up and use. The author is responsive should you have questions or need help.
This app is able to stop ALL notifications from the System UI, including the extremely annoying "power saving mode enabled" thing which fills half the screen and which was only introduced in Marshmallow. Brilliant, thank you.
I'd really like to disable Bluetooth, alarm clock, data and wifi notifications, as well as battery, but I can't figure out where, yet, these are hidden.
This app works so well to hide to dumb notifications the only bad thing is the permission for root
This app seems to work great but Android allows you to block notifications now so the only real benefit to having the app would be if you could export the list so you could restore it after a factory reset or upgrading your phone. Please add this feature in future versions.
Finally got rid of those pesky notifications.
Whether rooted or not this application does NOT work Please don't waste Our time - FAKE
Fucks up your notifications on Android 7 nougat. Shuts off notifs but never turns them back on.
Finally an EASY way to get rid of annoying notifications from apps that I don't want to hear from.
The app does what it says, but I have an issue with it creating more than 700mb of app cache a day and drains my battery like no other. Wish that could be reduced or fixed.
Did work on my phone but now it forever tries refreshing apps and never stops, tried re installing 6 times, clearing dalvik and all sorts to no avail, any advice for me?
Needed to block the annoying alert from Samsung smart manager. Worked perfectly. Thank you!
Note 3 Android 5.1 The app detected root and said it disabled system ui notifs after unchecking the box and hitting the save icon. Notifs still persistent after this. Sorry dev app isnt working bro.
Had this in my previous phone which was rooted. Works brilliantly. First thing to install on my new phone when I get round to rooting it
When user taps on checkbox - scrolling performed instead. Need either move checkboxes to the left or fix scrollbar width. 2. Dont work on system notifications on xiaomi mi4c
I took my SIM card out and was sick of seeing the notification for it. With this app I could turn System UI off. Just what I wanted to do. Thank you
I dont wanna root my device before the warranty expires... So its not gonna work for me till then.. But 5 stars for what it does!!!
Was getting sick of all the system notifications that I couldn't turn off since they were system apps - Now, thanks to this app I finally got rid of those annoying notifications. Loved it!

Perfect!!! Does exactly what it claims to do. Probably 1-star reviews are from people who didn't realize YOU MUST HAVE ROOT ACCESS. If you don't know what root is, your phone is probably not rooted and there is no way for an installed app such as this one to hide a notification. Having your phone ROOTED is a means of giving "extra" access and control over your phone to an app of your choosing. It opens many possibilities, but it's not for everyone.
