CliqTags Beacon Reader

Get context-relevant deals and information on your phone anywhere there are beacons, be it in shops, bus/train stations, airports, museums, conference centers, exhibits etc.

By just being in the proximity of a beacon, Beacon Reader will react and look up information, if there's any.

It will automatically activate Bluetooth at start if it's not already. You may deactivate Bluetooth later if you are outside a beacon zone, and activate it again when you are inside one.

Your device needs to support Bluetooth 4.0 and have at least Android 4.3.

Beacon Reader also serves as a handy beacon analyzer. Per swipe/click on the title bar:
- Beacons: What beacons were detected, including their information. The most recently detected one is at the top. You can clear the list of beacons to retry.
- Regions: What regions/UUIDs are monitored, and which ones were detected. You can stop and restart ranging of beacons.
- Preferences: Settings that control the user experience. The default settings should be fine for most cases.
- Information: Information about the app, e.g. for when you communicate with technical support.

Please note that only the UUIDs listed on the Regions page are monitored. If you are a beacon provider, please contact us with your default UUID and we'll add it.

Beacons in this case meaning iBeacon-compatible beacons based on Bluetooth Low Energy / Smart, that are increasingly used for providing information to mobile phones.
