Blur=Passwords+Wallet+Privacy for Android
on dtek50: flawless on my blackberry device. hoping an aggresive workout clean GUI and country base phone masking service will be added on the next upgrade, dobre Dev!!
Perfectly suited to my lazy style. Blocks useless marketing and phishing scams. I use it on Android 7.0, MacOS Sierra 10.12.6, & Win7! First started with iPhone until iOS 8.
Which browser is it best to work on? Having trouble with different browsers. Not sure which one to use the app with. Also please support multiple sites for one login as Android apps have different addresses.
Blur rarely is running when you need it. Then the button is in the way of the screen where you need to click. Then when you are typing on the keyboard, the pop-up is in the way of the keyboard itself. Seriously?
Good)))
I'm updating my formerly one star review. They've continued to make updates and bug fixes and their now competitive with LastPass. One of my last complaints is as follows: They started charging for masked cards, but said you could use your bank account for free similar to PayPal. But the option hasn't been available even after several months. I've requested to be included in the beta several times with no response.
An invaluable asset when managing security and security. From masked emails to password management to masked payments options. Like the old American Express slogan, "Blur, I don't leave the internet without it."
Really great app. I love the accounts feature. Also the masking email and credit cards. It's still in Beta and has some bugs, but it's getting there. Good job.
Too complicayed. Does mot save easily . Uninstalled
Abine Blur is not just a password manager, but it's really a suite of tools that help you protect your identity online. Email aliases, masked Credit cards and a online tracking protection tool. There is even a tool to protect your phone numbers. I have been using Blur for a couple years now, there is also a premium option, but I haven't been able to go premium. With that said "Abine Blur", in my opinion, the most comprehensive and robust system addressing online security in privacy available in the market.
The password generator could be more flexible in its configuration, but it's not bad. The Android app is a bit limited. I can't see all of my masked emails, only the ones that forward to my primary email. If I use the Android app to create a new masked email, I can't label it for the service in using it for (such as Amazon). The online documentation says I should be able to set up 2-Factor authentication through the Android app, but I couldn't find the settings page referenced in the documentation for doing that. However, if you do your primary account management via the Chrome extension, this app still works fine for accessing logins and already masked cards and such (although you cannot access all of your masked emails, which is a big deal).
I've had Blur installed & continuously running for 3+ months on LG phone & my laptop. They're work together well & are constantly synced. How nice! I have over 70 accts saved & fewer worries about my memory for which has what password. Secure! Encrypted! Love it! Try it!
Mobile app needs a few more tweaks. Browser extension works great. I use makes emails for everything, almost. Love that I can block all indented email! I've used a makes card once. Worked fine. But I used a different password manager and let Google auto fill my identity. Works fine. Allowd 2FA and biometric login as well.
Unusably slow on most phones due to autocomplete. It would be childsplay to be able to disable this feature but after 2 years they have not bothered. If they can just have a switch to enable that I will give 5 stars.
Still Beta Blur? Great prog, has saved my feathers numerous times although still not quite as smooth as I want. I'm sure most of it is operator error (me) re filling out forms fully. This app is definitely an asset. Search filtration may benefit from specificity filters (user name "optional" is cumbersome). "Blind Auto-url codifying" internally, might be an answer. Highly recommended. Won't fly w/o it.
Their free-forever features of masked emails and tracking prevention are handy, and their masked cards feature would be amazing if it was built a little better (for instance, it would be great if they allowed you to fund the fake cards from real cards or from bank accounts conditionally, or based on the type of transaction). But masked phones and some other premium features don't even work during the premium trial, so I don't know how they ever expect me to pay for it... should I just assume they will magically start working when I pay money? No siree! I'll move on to a different product.
I really like the ability to mask my information. The one feature I wish was available in the app is the ability to sort the masked emails by label instead of defaulting to the order they were created in.
Great on computer..... Lags phone out daily. Finally realized this app is what was locking up my phone and requiring hard resets. That sucks. I'm a premium member.
As premium user I'd say that the service is worth it, and excellent. However the android application itself it's been long time on 'Beta' and still work to be done
A few steps behind the browser extensions in terms comfort and tools - tracking protection and more flexibility in auto-lock time, but already displaying the full privacy potential Blur offers its users
Great app, been using Blur on pc for almost 2 years now and cant do without, i just hope my passwords are safe as you guys say they are. Thanks
I have used Blur for almost 2 years,Love It. Makes me feel a bit safer in the troubled online world
I've been a Blur user for a few years now on my mobile and desktop. I absolutely love it. the functionality and security features are great. Their customer service is awesome as well!!! I highly recommend it.
Is it possible to create contact names for the my masked number? Or am I stuck just with the callers actual number?
I'll give 5 stars when you roll out your product to other countries. You have been promising to do this for so many years now. Since you were known as DNT. Again, you made this high priority since you became Blur. I understand that you can't do anything about masked bank cards. But other features could be. Besides which, it is unfair for us to pay premium prices when we cannot use your other, excellent features. Like most of the good app available. The are often USA eccentric. Bear in mind, that there are millions if not billions of other people in the world, which would benifit your company and us! Thank you for your urgent consideration in this important matter. Ben
This is an essential service/software like anti virus or chrome and on that I install in a new device. I'll soon get the paid version for sure.
I absolutely love blur. I am a premium subscriber. The password generation and autofill which is in the free app, is absolutely fantastic. I totally rely on blur at this point in my life.
It seems to hang whenever I go into the app and for whatever reason if you reboot your phone you have to manually start the app even though I have it set to auto run at startup.
I use this on Android and my PC they are linked to same account. Excellent product, gives me great security.
I think the feature is cool and gives a since of added protection of ones personal information. I'm still getting the hang of it at this time.
I absolutely love the desktop version. Works with every web browser I've tried it on, the premium is totally worth the price and it is a very useful platform. However, the app hasn't worked for my phone for the past month or two.. It used to but idk if upgrading to Android 7.1.1 or 7.1.2 or if it arbitrarily broke or what. The app opens and I can log in, but autofill doesn't work in any apps. It trys to work on websites but says I have no accounts on whatever website I'm trying to login on. Additionally when I go to accounts on the main Blur menu it just hangs loading and never shows any info. Would really love to see this fixed. Keep up the hard work!
Considering purchasing premium for this, I highly recommend updating this app to material design standard, though.
Great app overall for encrypting and generating passwords, and storing on phone. Want to report bug, where either "phantom" (occupies slot on list with all fields blank) that cannot be deleted, or duplicate accounts appear on the list of passwords and accounts which is rendundant; when you try to delete one of the duplicates both are deleted. In addition to possibly losing this information, a different account / website becomes duplicated so that the list of passwords is no longer streamlined, but cluttered with multiple duplicates and phantom blank accounts. Currently use Samsung Galaxy 5, on most current up to date software for phone and Blur app. Would appreciate if the accounts could be sorted, like on Firefox add-on which works perfectly (other than confusion between lower case "L / l" & upper case "i / I"
Such a great service. Had it for years and lots of bugs are worked out. Albine Mask me is wonderful also.
Love this app since the Premium syncs across all of my devices. Couldn't survive without it.
Been using it for a few years and now installing on my Galaxy 7 and my IPad. Will not go with out it now!
I have been using Blur for several years. It is great for managing passwords.
I have had a number of password security Programs but this is by far the best.
I've been using it for the couple of years and absolutely love it. Could not live without it.

FANTASTIC support!! Had problem with the update and Dave and team QUICKLY responded and got it fixed. Blur premium is the BEST for masked phones and masked email. Have had subscription for 2+ yrs and highly recommend it.
