How The World Works es un proyecto creado por dos estudiantes de ingeniería de la Universidad Miguel Hernández de Elche. El objetivo es mostrar una visión cercana de todo aquello que nos rodea, permitiendo comprender el funcionamiento del mundo a las personas que no han tenido ocasión de realizar estudios técnicos.
Con esta app participamos en la IX edición del Concurso Universitario de Software Libre, en la categoría Educación. Competimos contra proyectos de toda España.
¿Alguna vez te has preguntado por qué al mezclar Mentos con Coca-Cola se produce un géiser?
¿Sabes lo que es un diferencial de un coche y cómo nos ayuda a tomar las curvas?
¿Te preguntas por qué los ordenadores utilizan ceros y unos?
Si es así, puedes acompañarnos en este pequeño viaje en el que aprenderás muchas cosas interesantes. Y podrás enseñarle a todo el mundo las medallas que vayas consiguiendo.

Abel Aldeguer Pérez How The World Works is a project created by two engineering students from the University Miguel Hernández de Elche. The aim is to show a close look at everything around us, allowing understand how the world to people who have not had the opportunity to conduct technical studies.
With this app participated in the ninth edition of Free Software University Contest in the category of Education. We compete against projects from all over Spain.
Have you ever ever wondered why when mixing Mentos and Coke geyser occurs?
You know what a differential of a car and how we help cornering?
Do you wonder why computers use zeros and ones?
If so, you can join us on this little journey in which you will learn many interesting things. And you can show everyone medals you go getting.

La idea es muy buena. Si bien es verdad que el contenido ahora mismo algo escaso, no me cabe duda de que los desarrolladores lo ampliarán sin complicaciones. No hace falta ser ingeniero para entender un poco nuestro mundo.
