ABC7 News San Francisco

Good, quick source for local bay area news. They finally fixed the teeny- weeny traffic map and it works fabulously now with many new options. Reports still have way too many spelling and writing errors which always distract me from the story. (Damn those great English teachers from my youth!) I turn off all notifications! Too many and most are unnecessary IMO.

Too many repetitive alerts

I NEVER "enabled" nor "asked" for the ABC APP to send me ANY notifications. Suddenly, a few days ago, I'm being DELUDGED with tons of news notifications. What a pain in #%÷+@&. Gonna uninstall, since there is no obvious way to set app preferences. Why no menu up in corner to do this? Ugh.

Your app is in need of some major tweaking. Anytime I attempt to launch a video in your app the app crashes. Using the brand new top of the line Google Pixel XL this shouldn't happen. Fix your app!

It is my go to app for all the local or national news. It is reliable and very much up to date with headlining news of all levels.** won't play the videos. Very annoying!

It's doesn't work all the time. It has too Many commercials also. Ktvu 2 works better.

No longer get push notifs! Tried everything. Un- & re-installed. Checked settings. No luck.

Watching from England, I left my heart in SF. Watching to see if anyone finds it !! App. smooth. Works well.

This app freeze from time to time, very badly designed and implemented.

Video does not play on Android devices

It's pretty cool. Still learning how to navigate around in it but so far so good.☺

It is not comfortable to watch, no sports, just blank or ugly score board, same for commercial breaks, but commercials shown anyway. Times go by with nothing at all. Best for local news cast is CBS LOCAL app, it's continuest, the rear thing. IT'S COMFORTABLE TO WATCH.

I appreciate being kept in the loop with news in my area, but do I really need alerts about fashion, or multiple alerts that it's raining? Most of the alerts tell me to tune in to watch for details. The whole point of the app is to get the info I need on the go, not watch the broadcast. Yes, different people want different news, so maybe an option of categories for alerts would be helpful!

It definitely misses A LOT of real local news for those who want to know more then what's going on in San Francisco or major events in other states then my own. Plus the videos don't work then kicks you out of app.

Love the breaking news notifications, but the majority of the time when I click on them, the app just hangs, or else takes several minutes to load the news item. Not helpful.

I'd like to get notifications of breaking news, but not everything you post falls into that category. "Rainbow appears during parade of ships"? Is that really breaking news? You'll kill my battery with notifications like that.

Useful, but way too many push notifications! "Breaking news" should be a single story, not every single follow up to that story should count as "breaking."

This app takes you exactly to the news article that is in the text alert. So far, it seems timely without sending too many notices.

This is the best of the bay area news apps (not a high bar though). but some of the notifications are not really news worthy, like i dont think what the lotto is or that "wheel of fortune" was cancelled are considered breaking news

Pretty good but with no way to configure what kind of push alerts you get it becomes annoying quickly.

It doesn't always open the live news stream. But it works well 95% of the time great application as I stated above!

Lots of updates but good information also can get your news late at night that you missed.

I like the Notifications, that way I can read about the information that interest me most first. Excellent News App!

Downgraded from 5 stars, too many frustrating issues with this App. for far too long. Does anyony give a care that this web page has gone to be the worst news source? Notifications don't lead to the story, can't find the story, white page, with wide red banners, no stories

After a few days some stories won't load or come up. I have Uninstalled and re installed but still the same
