Folder Organizer for Android
I gave this app a bad review based on this phone when new. It worked well on my other phones but not this one. After talking to several smart people, they suggested a complete purge and reinstall. I've done that and app now works well once again. I'm back to the happy camper as I was when Fabio introduced the app years ago.
To the guy who has "ghost apps" just REFRESH your apps list in the application and they will update. Great app I've had for years. Used to be a 5 star app. Unfortunately it's been abandoned by developer and I would not spend money on it, as there's no support for this app any longer (just email the developer and see if you ever get a response). You risk an update to Android that could break this app and you're out $$. But at your own risk. I've moved on to Glextor
It took a long time to figure out properly but now I love it, it's so customisable from folder icons to categories. I now have 15 folders on my front page instead of 87 app icons spread page after page. It is bloody awesome. New apps go into the "to organise" section and I give them tags so they can come up in multiple folders that are relevant. Perfect. I've made ever folder have trendy hipster icons so my wall looks epic. You can even rename apps that go in the folders so my long winded "master task manager version 8... Blah blah" Can just be called "task manager" etc :)
Seriously is this app designed for humans or is it designed for aliens? I can't even perform simple tasks like change the icons in the folder, it takes me through the selection process then changes nothing..... Please refine the app
Long time user. It is in my to 5 apps list. Keeping my phone organized is a big thing. Have a widget with my daily used apps along with one with 20 labels that act as sub folder. Can find what I want with out digging thru the messy app draw.
I've been using this app for years and never had a problem until now. I've upgraded to a S7 edge and fo keeps saying it is unlicensed. I've uninstalled it and reinstalled it and the same thing happens. I'm still using the same account as I did when I bought it
after using the app for a long time, I was able to see the developer deserves a compensation for a great job. You install an app and is so easy to categorize the app, you will get an option to do that after the installations. You can set the icons that you like from the provided ones or your own. The backup is working, removed the free version and after the installation of the pay version restored all my folders fine. I hope to see more features and customization options on future updates.
I had payed and used this app since it came on the market. It still works but its showing its age, hasn't been updated in a while and now with my Galaxy 8+ its starting to glitch. Wish the developer would return to it.
You can copy your organized apps and shortcuts from your phone to your tablet. When you upgrade, your organized folders can be copied to your new phone or tablet. In low memory situations, your app folders don't take up as much memory in the launcher. They're just single widgets. You can get icons you like for groups of apps and move them too.
Have been using this app for years and it served me well but development has stopped it seems as updates are rare and they offer little in the way of fixes or enhancements. It now looks dated and ugly. So it's been about a year since the last update, I can only assume the Developer has abandoned it. It's time to switch to Glextor App Manager.
I have a fave folder that I keep on main screen as a widget, to scroll and easily get to most used apps. But now, I keep finding a blank widget with no apps. And I have to remove and replace it, only to have it go blank again. I give up. There's nothing convenient about that. And why has it dropped all ability to see or use browser bookmarks? Seriously, I paid for this but am losing features from it for some reason
This app allows me to organise my apps just the way I like it. The first one I install on a new device. However, since the update to lollipop it doesn't show the label names anymore on my Leno Yoga 2. Way less helpful now.
but for me it works perfect still. I can organize my apps tge way i want, which app, where i want it. Way more easier to find apps in smartphone with a huge amount of apps installed. Thanks!
Used the free version for a day and liked it. Here's a euro I'm not going to regret paying. Free ver decluttered my desktops all the way to only needing my home screen anymore. Pro version perfected the styling i was looking for. Loving it. Clean home and dang it looks FINE now. I call this an ESSENTIAL APP if you like gui customization to get rid of the typical smartphone clutter.
This is the best folder organizing tool for a phone. Multiple sublevels, easy to use, totally replaces app drawer. After using it for several years, I am still amazed at its capabilities as I have gone through several phones.
One of the few apps I always install in all the phones I have owned. But the developer just stopped updating this app. I can think of a few things which can improve this app. Samsung Galaxy C7 (Marshmallow)
First, I bought this app from Amazon app store. I use this app to organize folders/widgets on by launcher desktop. The developer stopped updating the Amazon app store version therefore I bought the Google version again. The developer is greedy and dishonest, but I am still throwing my money to this guy. Actually the developer should refund me to prove that he is sincere to his loyal customers. I hope at least he keeps updating the Google version - the last update seems to be more than one and half year ago.
Excellent folder organizer . Very nice. .Easy to use. . Make your own scrollable widgets.. Serious Problem with Galaxy S7 edge Android 6, It doesn't load the Bookmarks.
Occasionally an app will disappear from a folder I have created.. I haven't found a work around either. The app no longer shows up on the app list, and the app is installed.
Easiest way I know of to organize apps into "folders." And every time a new app is installed it will automatically ask you to choose which folder(s) to assign it to. Folders can also be configured to use custom icons of your choice. For example I use the Google maps icon for my "Travel" folder containing all my apps related to traveling/navigation. Has import export option when upgrading phones. Unfortunately I would like to remove 1/2 star because there is a bug in Android 6 that prevents editing of icons
I love this app and have been depending on it for years. However, on my new Galaxy Note 5, 6.0.1, it does not load bookmarks. That is one of the functions that makes this app so great. PLEASE, PLEASE fix this issue, as the app is not complete without it.
I wish there were a way to make sort--> Fixed--> type/starred/name make folders/labels come first rather than last! Also I would love to have a search shortcut so I can search all my apps from within a FO folder. Also I can't use a 3rd party icon pack? Or am I missing something? Also, extremely outdated look and feel. Pre-Honeycomb?
I love this app, use it all the time across all my devices. I find the icon pack integration buggy and would love an option for animating the folders but even without it is essential
Didn't work on my S5 - trying out on my S6 Edge - doesn't work here either. Can't place folders at all - worthless!
I have been using this app for almost 4 years. It has allowed me to group my 500+ apps by function within a multi-level hierarchy of folders, with only the top 2 folders on my home screen, giving a very aesthetically pleasing and useful result. This is the best by far of this type of app. It works with 6.0.1. I sincerely hope that it will continue to be supported.

App not complete. Will not see bookmarks from any browser. Notified author numerous times. Will not reply back. No support whatsoever. Would not recommend to anyone.
It used to see my bookmarks from Chrome, doesn't anymore. Will rate again after issue is fixed
Glextor App Manager is alot better
Sometimes the widgets disappear for no apparent reason and I need to reboot my device.
Functionality ably handled by Nova Launcher as a built-in feature. So I am uninstalling this app after being a longtime fan.
4/20/15: Loses Label Folder name & icon (again) after upgrade. FIX: Remove Label Folder from home screen then re-add it. Contents not affected by bug. Frustrating & time-consuming.
Really love the app, but far too many problems. Almost never updates (nearly a year between them usually). Only added new features/UI a single time in years. Problems pile up, but are never fixed. Have been forced to completely redo everything 4 times due to app randomly deciding it's going to crash every time you open it or change anything, making it useless.
MUST-HAVE PERIOD! As Android improves with each update utility apps fall by the wayside and are no longer useful... NOT so with Folder Organizer. It's the shiznit!!! It is so versatile and even on my newer quad-core (octa-core even) Samsungs it makes Android cleaner and more elegant! Easy startup but months to master--super powerful!
Fix to allow app names to wrap or be edited; allow to choose number of apps to show in rectangle. Cannot reposition and/or edit app names. Wasted my MONEY!
Have to agree with others. This is my most-used app, and it's great, but in ten years it really hasn't changed much, which is disappointing. It still lacks some basics, like the ability to sort by installation date, and the dev could have done more. Lack of add-in functionality is a notable gap, for example. That said, it's still top dog, for now, and I get a lot out of it.
Needs more configuration editing options, like font size, folder dimensions, app info,... Etc.
One of my 'go to' apps on getting a new gadget. Loses one star as I can't change the widget theme, seems to be locked to 'default'.
Used to really like it. Uninstalling now since I'm using Action Launcher 3 and its drawers

EDITED January 2017: I have been using this app for almost 5 years. It has allowed me to group my 500+ apps by function within a multi-level hierarchy of folders, with only the top folder on my home screen, giving a very aesthetically pleasing and useful result. It works with 6.0.1. However, it hasn't been updated in almost 2 years and the developer does not respond to support requests. I'm concerned it will fail to function with some android update. I recently discovered and moved to JINA App Drawer which gives me the result I need and which is actively supported.
