SunSet Today Widget

Displays the Sunset time at your location on your home screen - a very simple widget.

This widget gets your current location from your device's GPS or Google location services, then calculates the time the sun will set at that location. This widget works even if you do not have a network connection.

If the widget cannot find your location, it will display "No GPS". If this happens, make sure you have allowed location access from GPS and/or wireless networks in your settings. If these are on, move to a location with better reception, then touch the widget to show the Sunset time. Also, if you travel to a new location, touch the widget to update your coordinates and calculate the sundown time for the new location.

Remember that sunset is defined as when the sun dips completely below the horizon at sea level, so it starts to set a few minutes earlier. Also, if you are in a mountainous area, or the horizon is otherwise blocked, the sun will appear to set earlier from your perspective.
