CBA UFPA

A Casa de Estudos Brasil-África (CBA) foi proposta pelo Grupo de Estudos Afro-Amazônico, o primeiro NEAB da UFPA, e criada através da Portaria No 3313/2006, estando vinculada a Pró-Reitoria de Relações Internacionais da Universidade Federal do Pará (Prointer/UFPA).

Atualmente coordenada pelo Prof. Dr. Hilton Pereira da Silva, a CBA tem as seguintes finalidades:

Promover o intercâmbio científico, técnico e cultural entre a UFPA e Instituições dos países do Continente Africano.
Apoiar e estimular atividades que visem ao desenvolvimento da cooperação mútua Brasil-Continente africano.
Difundir a língua portuguesa e a cultura brasileira nos países africanos e as culturas africanas no Brasil.
Apoiar os estudantes africanos em suas atividades acadêmicas e culturais na UFPA. The House of Brazil-Africa Studies (CBA) was proposed by the Group of African-Amazonian Studies, the first NEAB UFPA, and established by Decree No 3313/2006 and is linked to the Dean of International Affairs Federal University of Pará (Prointer / UFPA).

Currently coordinated by Prof. Dr. Hilton Pereira da Silva, CBA has the following purposes:

Promote scientific, technical and cultural exchanges between UFPA and institutions of the African continent's countries.
Support and encourage activities aimed at the development of mutual cooperation Brazil-African Continent.
Spread the Portuguese language and Brazilian culture in African countries and African cultures in Brazil.
Support African students in their academic and cultural activities in the UFPA.
