Provides guidance at your fingertips to the knife laws of all 50 states and many cities and local jurisdictions in the United States. Knowledge of the law is the first step in avoiding an unfortunate arrest, loss of your knife or other legal complications.

In addition, you can use the app to notify Knife Rights if you find an error, so that we can investigate and make a correction if appropriate. Both submissions require you to provide us a name and email so that we can communicate back to you. This information will be used only for this purpose and will not be retained or sold.
Please note that a legal disclaimer is shown and must be acknowledged each time before the legal information is provided. Because we anticipate that this app will be used to show the information it contains to others than just the phone's or tablet's owner, our attorneys insisted on this "feature." This app is useless I select at Texas in that only show me the state law no city laws anywhere in the state and I tried other states and nothing half of them don't have anything in there other than the state law and not any city ordinances well that kind of makes this app useless

This app takes twice add long as necessary because you have to scroll through two (!) disclaimers before you can even use the app. Every time! Enough already. We get it. Also, the chart format is not intuitive.

I've only applied the app for my immediate location but very informative. The "what to do" when confronted with law enforcement is great. Buy it, knife folks. PS - I gave 4 stars Only because of limited use so far. I'll update over time. I'm sold!

I live in FL, but I'm from KY and cross GA and TN to see family. I don't want to read dry legal crap of each state's web pages. This app is great. ...I found, I bend a law or two. Good to know. More city codes plz, or say that there are only state laws in each city. Like ...Gainesville, FL is a blue dot, surrounded by red, so they may have more restrictions.

This app contains essential information for anyone who carries a knife, especially those traveling to different states. However, the persistent disclaimers, poor design, forced horizontal viewing, and tables that don't format properly render the app difficult to use.
